Hey you like Match-3? Think it's kind of easy and need to up that challenge? ............... What's the hell is wrong with you?! Pfft. But anyway, if so... This game is for youuu~! Not only it has the luck factor present (this one is a must for Match-3, duh), it also has some crazy ass dungeons. Sure there are three Challenge levels you can pick, but listen... You might do well in the first dungeon... The second one even and then... Then it gets REALLY hard, REALLY fast. You gotta be committed to it or else... Or else you will just nibble your poor fingers, attempting to figure out which click to make, all the while trying hard not to sweat through your panicked state. Not saying you can't do it and it's impossible. Psh! Come on. You CAN. Just keep at it. I'll even tell you how to get all the three stars in a level! You chase them. Literally. It took me some time to figure that out. So if you see a star in the bushes? Double click that... Then chase it down however many times it needs to be to obtain it. Also, if you get new hairstyles/outfits... Don't click and think it'll "Preview" it, because... You'll BUY IT! That's how my character ended up with bangs in his face and he can't see anything anymore... Which might be for the best. While I am not an atrocious player in these type of games... You still need to harness that power of things such as "patience" and "how badly do you want to reach your goals?" Because in the end there... You'll be playing for a while to get to 100%. :D.................. (I will say this... The soundtracks are rather pretty darn good!)
Saving Clicklandia is a colorful and approachable match-3 puzzle adventure that blends familiar tile-matching gameplay with light role-playing elements and a whimsical fantasy setting. Developed by Sky Bros and published by Alawar Casual, the game is clearly designed to appeal to players looking for a relaxed, content-rich experience rather than mechanical innovation or high difficulty. It embraces the traditions of casual puzzle games while adding just enough structure and narrative flavor to give the endless swapping of tiles a sense of direction and purpose. The story framing is simple but effective for the genre. Players are cast as a hero tasked with saving the Kingdom of Clicklandia, a once-peaceful land now threatened by monsters and a looming dragon. This narrative acts as a thematic wrapper rather than a deep plot, but it helps contextualize progression and gives meaning to moving from one area to the next. Instead of merely advancing through abstract levels, players feel as though they are pushing back corruption and restoring order, which adds a small but welcome layer of motivation to the puzzle grind. At its core, Saving Clicklandia relies on classic match-3 mechanics. Players swap adjacent tiles to form matches that clear the board and advance level objectives. These objectives vary from clearing specific tiles to defeating enemies or breaking obstacles, and while none of them drastically alter the genre formula, they are arranged well enough to keep gameplay from becoming entirely monotonous. Difficulty ramps up gradually, introducing new board elements and hazards over time, encouraging players to think more carefully about move order and prioritization rather than relying on random swaps. What differentiates Saving Clicklandia from more bare-bones match-3 titles is its inclusion of light RPG systems. Completing levels rewards gold and resources that can be spent on equipment, potions, and other upgrades. These elements add a sense of long-term progression, allowing players to prepare for tougher stages and boss encounters. While these systems are not especially deep and often feel more supportive than transformative, they do provide a satisfying loop of earning rewards, improving your character, and tackling increasingly demanding puzzles. The game offers a substantial amount of content, with a large number of levels spread across multiple stages of the adventure. This abundance ensures that players who enjoy the core loop will have plenty to do, especially if they aim to complete optional challenges or earn maximum star ratings on each level. Boss stages serve as occasional pacing changes, asking players to defeat tougher enemies through puzzle performance rather than raw combat. Although these encounters still rely on standard match-3 mechanics, they add variety and a sense of escalation as the story progresses. Visually, Saving Clicklandia adopts a bright, cartoon-inspired fantasy style that suits its casual nature. Tiles are colorful and clearly distinguishable, which is important for readability during more complex boards. Character designs and environments are cheerful rather than detailed, reinforcing the game’s lighthearted tone. The soundtrack complements this presentation with upbeat and pleasant music that supports extended play sessions without becoming irritating, an important quality for a game built around repetition. That said, the game does not significantly reinvent its genre. Once players become accustomed to its systems, the experience remains largely consistent from beginning to end. The RPG elements, while enjoyable, often feel secondary to the puzzles and may not dramatically change how levels are approached. Interface quirks and small quality-of-life issues can occasionally interrupt the flow, reminding players of the game’s modest production scope. Overall, Saving Clicklandia succeeds as a comfortable and content-rich match-3 adventure aimed squarely at casual players. It delivers a steady stream of puzzles, a gentle sense of progression, and a charming fantasy atmosphere without demanding intense focus or advanced strategy. While it may not satisfy players searching for innovation or deep systems, it fulfills its role as a relaxing, time-filling experience that rewards persistence and familiarity. For fans of traditional match-3 games who enjoy light RPG flavor and a friendly presentation, Saving Clicklandia offers a dependable and enjoyable journey through a colorful fantasy world. This is a match-three game where you need to decide what is your highest priority before you match the three or more three items. You have to survive the attack of enemies such as snakes, spiders, scorpions etc. At the same time, you have to collect resources to craft potions and arrows and complete the required tasks on each level. Fortunately, if you couldn't get all the stars on the first play, you can replay the level to get the three stars. There are a few clothing shops to be unlocked as you progress further in the game. Please do not click on the item in the shop if you're not buying what you intended to buy because clicking the item doesn't give you a preview of how your character looks with the item. Also, the clothes and accessories do not offer additional skills or abilities in the fight. Overall, it's not a bad game to kill time. Sometimes, the level can be challenging because you probably have to sacrifice your health to deal with the attack when you want to finish the level or gather more important resources. There are 150 levels and the 150th level is the toughest. The levels are getting more difficult as more attacks need to be handled. Then, there are another additional 50 levels which are more difficult than the first 150 levels. Some players probably feel it's repetitive or boring, but I couldn't find what else to look for in a match-three game besides matching items? Anyway, if you love match-three games and want to challenge yourself with survival mode, this would be a great game for you.
