Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 27 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Part of my childhood and that is why I bought the game. I still love what the game was but this version barely works. I'd like to give this thumbs up, because it is fun and very nostalgic for me but at the moment there are so many skipped frames I have to give it thumbs down. If it is updated to work better I will change the review.

Developed by Atreid Concept and published by SNEG, Savage Warriors is a faithful revival of a lesser-known 1990s fighting game that captures the excitement and experimental spirit of the arcade era. Rather than modernizing every aspect of its design, this release focuses on preserving the original experience while making it accessible on current PC hardware. The story centers on a mysterious island where legendary warriors from different backgrounds have been gathered by a ruthless Master to compete in a deadly tournament. While the narrative serves mainly as a reason to push players from one battle to the next, it successfully establishes an adventurous atmosphere that complements the game's fast-paced combat. The heart of Savage Warriors lies in its straightforward yet entertaining fighting mechanics. Players can choose from a diverse cast of combatants, each featuring distinctive fighting techniques, animations, and special attacks. Matches emphasize quick reactions and learning the strengths of individual characters rather than mastering highly technical combo systems. One of the game's more memorable features is its interactive battle arenas, which encourage players to use the environment during fights. Characters can climb onto elevated objects, swing from overhead structures, and reposition themselves in ways that make each arena feel more dynamic than the traditional flat stages commonly seen in classic fighters. Weapons scattered throughout battles also introduce another layer of unpredictability, rewarding players who seize opportunities to gain a temporary advantage. Visually, Savage Warriors remains an interesting showcase of technology from its original release period. Instead of relying entirely on hand-drawn sprites, the game uses digitized 3D character models that were impressive for their time and still provide a unique appearance compared to many other retro fighting games. Although modern audiences will immediately notice the dated graphics, the fluid character animations and distinctive presentation give the game an identity that separates it from countless forgotten fighters of the same era. Players can also switch between two different camera perspectives, adding variety to the visual experience and occasionally offering a better view of the action. Combined with high-quality music and impactful sound effects, the presentation does a commendable job of recreating the atmosphere of a classic arcade cabinet. As enjoyable as the game's nostalgic qualities can be, its age naturally brings several limitations. The move sets are relatively modest by today's standards, and the combat lacks the mechanical depth, extensive character customization, and competitive balance found in contemporary fighting games. Those expecting online multiplayer, lengthy progression systems, or a wealth of additional content may find the experience somewhat limited. However, these shortcomings are largely a reflection of the game's original design rather than flaws introduced by the modern release. SNEG's version succeeds in maintaining authenticity while ensuring the title runs smoothly on modern systems, allowing a new generation of players to experience this overlooked classic without technical frustrations. Savage Warriors ultimately succeeds as both a nostalgic time capsule and an entertaining retro fighting game. Its combination of varied fighters, interactive arenas, environmental movement, weapon-based combat, and distinctive visual style demonstrates the creativity developers explored during the mid-1990s. While it cannot compete with the complexity or feature set of today's leading fighting franchises, it offers enough personality and historical value to remain engaging for fans of classic arcade experiences. Players who appreciate retro action games and enjoy discovering forgotten gems will likely find this restored release to be a worthwhile addition to their library. Rating: 6/10
