Ok, not too far into the game but I LOVED Teleglitch and so wanted to throw in my 2 Cents on this one. The zero-gravity-nature of combat in this game gives it a slick feel, especially when it starts to click and you are racing backwards around a bunch of astroids being chased by enemies firing a fire-shotgun behind you. Exploding enemies can hurt you, your own explosives have a large blast radius.... lots of little things there to dig into. Still has that Teleglitch Feel to it though. So far I like it a lot and am enjoying discovering all the strange, fun tools to fight with. An enemy was harpooning me to limit my mobility..... I fired sawblades at it.... and they got harpooned. So I had harpoons flying around me with spinning saws attached to them as I tried to take down the ship to get away. Not going to lie- I would LOVE LOVE LOVE a Teleglitch 2 that was basically the same game with lots more goodies. This game is great, though, from what I've played.
this game rocks honestly

I love teleglitch and this game takes that football and runs with it. Its a shame this game doesn't get more attention than it has.
The spiritual successor to Teleglitch, but in space; you pilot your ship on exploratory missions to salvage scrap from derelict spacecraft and outposts to craft gear to further explore the dark void.
good. pretty hard, but i just want a kinetic shotgun instead of just the flame shotgun.
I really want to like this game. So, this is a weak recommend, since a lot of time and love went into it and I had different expectations. The core mechanics are there, but it just feels unnecessary hard and linear. I think it would be great if it had an exploring / open mode, where one could explore rather safe areas of space collect initial loot and get familiar and then explore harder areas, if desired or hard from the start. Managed to beat the first level a few times, but I immediately die in the second level. The database feature is nice, but there is not a single sentence for the different unlocked entries, just the name and classification (enemy, hazard, boss). Feels a bit too empty.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ savage. To developer: holy ♥♥♥♥ everything post-9 is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ me sideways, tune it down plz
Enjoyable wee game, the checkpoint system is pretty wonderful, which balances the difficulty. Just a few shots from an enemy can nearly kill your ship so it rewards methodical play. I got the game pretty cheap on a sale but I would be willing to pay up to £6 if I were to buy this again. It took around 5-6 hours to complete.
It's fun and It's like Teleglitch. Well made technically with the single game design/engine design fault of moving debris being able to warp the dark matter, possibly causing a sudden shift in the space to swallow you. I know the dark space deforms around the level via some algorithm, maybe it could swallow far enough debris and gradually adjust the shape instead.
