Surprised this isn't tagged with metroidvania as the world exploration is opened up by gaining new abilities. It's a really good game, the platforming is tight and the visuals are great. I got about 40-55 fps on steam deck by putting most settings to medium but then increasing resolution to 100% I highly recommend to anyone who loves 3d platformers. It's unique, as the only other 3d metroidvania focused on platforming I can think of is pseudoregalia. I think my only complaint is the rewards for challenges that you use currency for are lame as hell. You spend 50 everything you attempt and the reward is usually 75 or 100 in return. Anything else would have been a better reward
Neat 3D platformer with fun movement and charming visuals. The time loop stuff I wasn't a fan of, but if you don't care about achievements you can at least pause the clock in the cheats menu If the devs see this, please do add a map as it is somewhat hard to keep track of where all the challenge markers and side quest stuff is in the world at times

It's good
charming 3d platformer with good movement. strong recommend for fans of pseudoregalia
A competently built 3D metroidvania platformer with a large, interconnected world. Unfortunately the English translation isn't the best (serviceable though) and more importantly to me I'm not sure I've been convinced that the timeloop adds all that much to the experience. I haven't beaten the game yet so it's possible I'll be surprised but the Timeloop so far only seems like a contrivance used to make you return to the start every so often, and appreciate how your new abilities can let you return to places you had reached previously more quickly. The usual staples of a time loop game, like understanding when in the loop a key world event happens and planning around it, have not shown up yet. How long you have remaining in the loop doesn't appear to be player-visible information, at least by default. Maybe it's somewhere in the settings I missed? The ring challenges you have to pay currency for that send you through precarious paths in the overworld are not my favorite. if you mess up a jump, there's no way to reset and you don't get brought back to the start to try again. Instead, due to the interconnected world, you end up what could be a 5 minute trek away from the challenge if you even wanted to try it again. Thankfully it seems these are optional. The core movement works well. There's an energy mechanic used to limit your extra abilities that I don't fully understand the purpose of (why must I die for the crime of running and jumping sequentially in the platformer instead of needing to stop to refill stamina?), but the abilities themselves are fun to use and work to expand the world in that satisfying, Metroidvania way. I hope to come back to finish Sandloop. It's got a few rough edges but it was clearly assembled by folks who cared.
the city in this is really neat! everything is tightly packed together and those walls go aaallll the way up so once you find a good spot where you can fiddle yourself up to the rooftops you can wander around across the whole game world with very few hard barriers. there are a lot of edges to the platforming that i think would've been sanded off in a game with more "polish," but i happen to find those edges to be the most interesting bits so i'm happy they weren't. the time loop is central to the story but i'm not sure if the friction it introduces is productive or just kind of annoying. i managed to glitch it into not triggering until i exited to the main menu and reloaded, and i played for a while like that without really noticing anything that it was doing for me other than refreshing the pickups. the city is small enough that i was looping around on it on my own without needing something to plop me back down in the middle. go for it if you like 3D platformers! it's a decent couple-or-more hours' time
Great game with great and interesting mechanics! The movement and control feels nice and the map is very well designed, would 100% recommend it if you like platformers
cool game and platforming, can add future update where we can disable the timeloop in the settings ? kinda annoying i get resetted so fast, time loop ends too fast but other than that cool game
Everything good about this game is frontloaded and exists in the free demo. No-one has anything positive to say about the timeloop mechanic, it adds nothing. Game's climax is the wettest fart of the year. You want to play a game with good use of time loops? Vision Soft Reset or The Outer Wilds You want to play a game great 3d platformer? Pseudoregalia
A pretty fun 3D platformer with a unique timeloop mechanic. Theres no combat, so you can really play this at your own pace. I see people enjoying it for speedrunning, but I ended up treating it like a comfy relaxing platformer with fun challenges. The game isn't perfect and could use some improvements. Once you buy everything in the shop, the currency stops being that relevant. Some quests require you to return to the NPC that gave you the quest, but I often kept forgetting where they were and had to waste a timeloop cycle to find them again. Maybe a quest tracker would help in the UI that points you in the direction of where they were would be a nice addition. And maybe add items for purchase that helps you find the gems to upgrade stamina/health would help make the game more enjoyable. Still, I really enjoyed what I played. You can tell the dev team cared a lot about this project and had fun making it. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun platformer that you can beat in a few hours.
