Sandbox Showdown

There is already some physicsy fun to be had but it has a lot of room to improve. Graphics need some serious optimzation, at points I was looking at a slideshow. Music/Sound should be on by default. Fun physics game. Basically, you choose a hero, like a modern soldier or a knight or some scrawny punk kid who needs to get beat up, then you choose the type of dudes you wanna kill, like orcs or zombies. > Became a Knight who was the Defender of the Sun > Searched for the Sun to defend > Found some orcs that were causing trouble in my neighborhood > Stole a police car and ran them over > The impact exploded my car and sent us all flying into space 10/10 would become a Police Knight Astronaut again

I like these types of games, and to kick around in a sandbox for a few minutes with some silly weapons is fun. It's basically a wave-defense with a certain charming clumsiness, but that charm is lost pretty quickly when the game chugs to a halt due to optimization problems. Menus can be unresponsive, items bought in the in mission store crash the game. Generally this could be fun and entertaining with a little elbow grease and polish, but I wouldn't spend anything on it in its current state. This review is subject to change.

Fun game that makes the most out of silly physics. Out of all of the characters, I enjoyed playing the Soldier the most. I was able to lock down a position and fend off the hordes of enemies. It was especially fun to operate a vehicle and watch the orcs flop around as I ran them down. The game has many easter eggs riddled throughout it, and it's been a treat to find a few of them. Although there is an abundant amount of bugs (like you'd expect from an early access title), I do believe the game is worth the current price of $4. Grab a copy, channel the brawn of Gimply the Dwarf, and expect to have great time mindlessly slaying hordes of increasingly challenging enemies.

Sanbox Showdown is a genuinely fun game even considering my timeplayed is really small i had loads of fun with the game and it has some really funn moments with its physics system but that being said even in my small amount of time played the game has many bugs which i noticed from the get go but besides that all the game really needs is more content so i can keep on playing, some bug fixes and the thing that i believe would make this game 100x better would be if the dev/devs added GORE and dismemberment, this for me would knock this game outta the park. Considering the amount of time i've played and the actual cost of the game i say its well worth it if only for a few laughs with your friends or by yourself and once you've played your fill just lean back and wait for some more juicy content!
