Command vast armies across the surface of a star-encompassing Dyson Sphere in this next-gen RTS. Shatter the map itself with superweapons, freeze oceans to create new invasion routes, and control hundreds of units in your quest to dominate humanity's greatest megastructure.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
About
This is a free demo of the next-gen RTS - Sanctuary: Shattered Sun! This demo contains a few single player scenarios to give you a taste of the game. The full release will have multiplayer, an epic single player campaign, a full suite of land, air and naval units. And much more!
Sanctuary will feature a campaign, multiplayer, base building, a flow-based economy, kingpiece commander units, as well as land, sea and air combat.
Every projectile is simulated. Nukes level bases and energy shield generators hold the line against long-range artillery strikes. Sanctuary has a core focus on strategic decision-making over fast-paced micromanagement.

When conventional weapons aren't enough, deploy superweapons that literally break the map.
Watch as your enemies' bases plummet into the sun below when you destroy the structural supports of the Dyson Sphere itself, crumbling the ground from under them.

Seize control of Sanctuary's climate systems to reshape the battlefield. Watch as your enemies' fleets become trapped in ice while your armies advance across the frozen wastes.

Few players will muster the enormous resources needed to build a Titan, but even fewer will survive fighting one.

Destroy the enemy commander and you win, but be careful because if your own commander falls ... it's game over.

Scale matters: wage war across massive 40km x 40km battlefields with up to 10,000 units under your control.
Watch as physically simulated projectiles create unexpected moments of warfare - like missiles striking aircraft in mid-flight instead of their intended targets.

The year is 2758, and humanity's greatest achievement encircles the sun - Sanctuary, a Dyson Sphere housing over a trillion lives. But this marvel of engineering has become a battlefield, its gleaming cities reduced to rubble, its surfaces scarred by endless war. The dreams of paradise have given way to a brutal struggle for survival.
Choose your allegiance among three distinct factions: the pragmatic EDA, the futuristic Chosen, or the enigmatic Guard. Each brings unique strategies, technologies, and units to the fight for control of humanity's greatest creation.

Powered by cutting-edge DOTS technology, Sanctuary: Shattered Sun delivers smooth performance even in the largest battles.
Every explosion, every unit, and every tactical decision comes together in a seamless experience that pushes the boundaries of what's possible in strategy gaming. Watch thousands of units clash without your PC slowing to a crawl.

Fantastic demo, can't wait for full release.
Спасибо авторам. Очень жду выхода этой игры. Давно хочется свежей RTS в стиле SC. Графика просто шикарная. Всё остальное - отшлифуется. Демка очень годная.
Cool and early Peak into the game
I understand this is prealpha. I understand that we are still in kickstarter phase with alot of goals completed. While the goals are excellent bonuses for the devs and the community and shows great support and passion that we all want to get this game come to life in its full vigor. But! I hope that this game comes August 2027 - WITH ALL THE POLISH - WITH ALL THE OPTIMISATIONS (Never trusted Unity, Unity is highly known to be a CPU killer in any application if not coded correctly) I just played a 2hr MP battle against 3 Ai bots and I had an Ai ally. And towards the 2hr mark of TURTLING hard like a SUPCOM veteran, the game started to show cracks and came to a halt. Running at around 5fps, Im guessing from the T3 radar, the game was rendering well over 6000 units. The Ai spams T1 armies like crazy, and the radar picks up absolute zerg movements from Ai that can literally overcome any defense with the sheer wall of units they throw at you. I did this on purpose to test how the alpha handles this, and for the most part it has done ok. With more implemtations of units and mechanics in the future, I hope that the community is in the same boat, and pleading for game polish and optimisation. While i understand certain PC builds cant cope, I can see this being a HIGH CORE Cpu game, and also RAM (another problem with most Unity games) All in all, the demo has served its purpose. We all want to put our Supcom itch to rest, and to pledge our strategic minds to conquer all. Lets all get behind it, and urge for game optimisation and polish. For this will be one of the greatest things to come to RTS by a large margain. B.A.R is ok, Ashes of Singularity..is ok. We all know what Supcom did for all of us when it came to grand scale... and this is what we need.
Very promising game. I love more games like Total Annihilation/Supreme Commander/Beyond All Reason. Keep it up and polish it and you have a very good classic RTS. Amazing that we get this in this age. Kudos and thank you!
Top RTS game
Great demo. The UI needs work and there is noticeable chunks of content missing but that's what a demo is for and the game runs great otherwise so the problems should be easy to fix. The ideas and design is clearly there and the massive changes to the map are an incredible concept that needs further expansion. Maybe a electric storm that disables air from taking off or a monsoon that allows water units to move more inland by raising water levels? They would also need to be reversible. If "all navy units are permanently useless" is a game state that can happen they quickly become undesirable unless they are extremely powerful. And if they are extremely powerful then they dominate the moment that option is taken off the table, so on any map/scenario where you know the freeze isn´t happening. For example because you control the cryo tank or because there just isn´t one on the map. Independent of that there is one feature I always wanted but never got in games like this: smart control groups. The idea is that I can assign for example all fuelled and armed long range bombers to one group and the game dynamically adds and removes units as they meet the criteria. That way bombers that dropped their bombs leave the group for bombing runs and if I selected them through the group unselect themselves so I don't keep dragging useless units along. The criteria I would have are exact unit, unit type, unit tier, ammo/fuel (if that's a thing), area (like all units in your base) and idle (for factories, workers and so on). A smart "Select all units suitable for the front lines" or "select all artillery tier 2 and up" would allow much more focus on combat if ones base is set up properly.
