Command vast armies across the surface of a star-encompassing Dyson Sphere in this next-gen RTS. Shatter the map itself with superweapons, freeze oceans to create new invasion routes, and control hundreds of units in your quest to dominate humanity's greatest megastructure.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
About
This is a free demo of the next-gen RTS - Sanctuary: Shattered Sun! This demo contains a few single player scenarios to give you a taste of the game. The full release will have multiplayer, an epic single player campaign, a full suite of land, air and naval units. And much more!
Sanctuary will feature a campaign, multiplayer, base building, a flow-based economy, kingpiece commander units, as well as land, sea and air combat.
Every projectile is simulated. Nukes level bases and energy shield generators hold the line against long-range artillery strikes. Sanctuary has a core focus on strategic decision-making over fast-paced micromanagement.

When conventional weapons aren't enough, deploy superweapons that literally break the map.
Watch as your enemies' bases plummet into the sun below when you destroy the structural supports of the Dyson Sphere itself, crumbling the ground from under them.

Seize control of Sanctuary's climate systems to reshape the battlefield. Watch as your enemies' fleets become trapped in ice while your armies advance across the frozen wastes.

Few players will muster the enormous resources needed to build a Titan, but even fewer will survive fighting one.

Destroy the enemy commander and you win, but be careful because if your own commander falls ... it's game over.

Scale matters: wage war across massive 40km x 40km battlefields with up to 10,000 units under your control.
Watch as physically simulated projectiles create unexpected moments of warfare - like missiles striking aircraft in mid-flight instead of their intended targets.

The year is 2758, and humanity's greatest achievement encircles the sun - Sanctuary, a Dyson Sphere housing over a trillion lives. But this marvel of engineering has become a battlefield, its gleaming cities reduced to rubble, its surfaces scarred by endless war. The dreams of paradise have given way to a brutal struggle for survival.
Choose your allegiance among three distinct factions: the pragmatic EDA, the futuristic Chosen, or the enigmatic Guard. Each brings unique strategies, technologies, and units to the fight for control of humanity's greatest creation.

Powered by cutting-edge DOTS technology, Sanctuary: Shattered Sun delivers smooth performance even in the largest battles.
Every explosion, every unit, and every tactical decision comes together in a seamless experience that pushes the boundaries of what's possible in strategy gaming. Watch thousands of units clash without your PC slowing to a crawl.

Good early gameplay for a game in "pre-alpha", whetever that means. Looking forward to see how it evolves and if it can be a true successor to Supreme Commander.
Finally a game like Supreme Commander FA... looking forward!
I'm excited for the full game!

Spiritual successor to Supreme commander in the making. Foundations are certanly there. I'm eagerly waiting for the Early access release!
Современная суприм коммандер и этим все сказано. Пока что очень ранняя демо, но для столь масштабной стратегии, очень хорошая оптимизация, при столь ранней версии, что является огромным плюсом. За пол часа увидел огромный потенциал, когда игру доделают.
A lot of games can say they have a feel of older games but this one does and goes even further.....T5 anyone? Yes im a backer on Kickstarter. The sound scape and visuals are amazing even on my system at 1440p. This is going to be an epic and quite possibly a 'game of the year' in this category should it keep on track, which, I have every confidence the devs will. They're active on discord too so I'd recommend joining the devs there to keep up with updates and suggestions plus multiplayer tests.
Insanely good for the early state of development. It looks like it has all of the bones in place, and a really solid foundation to move forward. Runs well, units look great. Demo mission plays a lot like the SupCom FA campaign where you just get dropped in with all the tools available. Things that would make this game really shine -Unit rank ups (e.g. like the supcom games) - I really want to have t3 and t4 units grow into scary units w/ health regen -Patrol commands -Better pathing/movement in formation -better visibility on resource extractors (hard to tell where they are when they get buried in other buildings)
so i'll have to play this more but i have a lot of thoughts on it in the current state. bear in mind that this is an alpha so i won't be very critical of things like how the UI doesn't read very will since the unit icons are too small, they're probably already working on things like that. and i think it's fair enough that i'm getting a bit tripped up on the mass and energy economies being reversed on the UI (though an option to swap their positions would be great) it feels pretty great to control. missing some things like the ability to move queued structures before they're built but i think they're nailing the feel. the priorities for this alpha feel strange to me. there are character portraits, voiced dialogue (which doesn't feel very well-directed, by the way), even a soundtrack, but there are no air or naval units which makes the strategy feel pretty restricted. as others have pointed out, it's kind of ridiculous to lock air and naval behind kickstarter stretch goals; those are gameplay fundamentals, not nice-to-haves. TA-style RTSes thrive on unit variety and it didn't really feel like i could effectively counter things in the included campaign mission besides "build a bunch of everything all the time" soundtrack is.. okay. some of the tracks are pretty great (the one that plays when the
big T4 unit shows up during the campaign mission
is great, but the rest really need to go harder. Total Annihilation and Supreme Commander both have fantastic soundtracks and this one is getting there but it could use work (and it absolutely invites TA and SupCom comparisons, given that it's very openly trying to be a SupCom successor) the current playable faction also lacks visual cohesion. they have angular hollow-looking factories which are neat but then the power generators are just balls on platforms. the units themselves can also look a bit drab and when zoomed in sometimes kind of blend into the landscape, especially in the tutorials. had some framerate drops but the game generally didn't suffer from slowdown, which is pretty impressive given the scale overall i'm cautiously optimistic. the demo is absolutely worth trying, but be aware going in that it's a toss-up whether this game ends up reaching its full potential. i really want it to, but we'll see.
Неплохо получилось, но UI не очень.
Game stays on my wishlist after I played the demo. Well done!
