samurai aces III – sengoku cannon

It's good that we have PC port for this, and thanks to KMBOX I was able to finish my collection. However, I did not know that this game itself was garbage. This is like Niagara falls suicide jump level of degradation, especially considering TENGAI(Samurai Aces II). Anyway, the game itself is very well put for pc. I did not experience any of the typical pc port problems here.

2회차 // 휴대기기로 시리즈가 나오면 안되는 이유를 보여주는 타이틀중 하나다. 4버튼을 모두 사용하는점과 3D로 나온것. 보스들의 체력바와 페이즈가 존재하고 여러 도전적인 시스템은 많다. 대신 2인용이 안된다는점과 캐릭터마다 색다를것없는 스토리와 엔딩. 밸런스도 캐릭터마다 맞지않고 일단 미사일 종류자체의 매력이 없다. 상황에 따라 미사일 바꾸는 시스템은 좋았지만 이전작들보다 번거로움만 커진것같다. 그래도 한글화 되어있고 그럭저럭 신선한느낌을 주는건 맞기때문에 시리즈를 좋아한다면 한번정도 해보는것도 나쁘진 않다. 평가 : ★★☆ 1회차 // 2편보다 상당히 퇴하한 작품이다. 아마도 휴대기기 PSP로 나와서 많이 너프 먹인것같은데 아무리그래도 볼품없는 3D배경과 매력적이지못한 미사일들의 변화등이 많이 아쉽다. 캐릭터성이 좋은게임인데 너무 성의없이 낸 느낌이든다. 스팀에 나온건 환영할만하지만 게임자체는 너무 아쉽다. 그래도 시리즈를 좋아한다면 캐릭터들 한번씩 플레이해보는것도 나쁘진않을것같다. 평가 : ★★☆

Samurai Aces III is a fantastic throwback to the golden age of arcade shooters. The game perfectly captures Psikyo’s fast-paced design philosophy, with intense bullet patterns, short but highly replayable stages, and that addictive “just one more credit” feeling. The character roster is charming and quirky, each with unique shot types that actually change how you approach the game. Boss fights are especially memorable — chaotic, challenging, and incredibly satisfying to learn. The pacing is excellent too: quick runs make it ideal for both casual play sessions and serious score chasing. Visually, the colorful sprites and classic arcade presentation still hold up, and the soundtrack fits the action perfectly. Controls are tight and responsive, exactly what you want from a traditional vertical shmup. If you enjoy arcade-style shooters, Psikyo games, or just want something pure and skill-based, Samurai Aces III is absolutely worth playing. A short but highly replayable gem.
