Saint Kotar: The Crawling Man

Nice comic book, good story! I haven't played Saint Kotar yet, but after reading this I will definetly get the game and try it out. If you're not sure if you should get the game or not, try reading the comic and then decide. Def worth getting it. Enjoy the good story, effects, and path of the main character in this comic.

Intriguing story, but I'm still missing something like a catalyst, the initiator of everything, maybe a book, a grimoire >;D. It also hints at the declining population in remote areas of the Balkans. If you are interested in something Lovecraftian stories you might like this. There are several parts in the comic that reminds me of some of the H.P. Lovecraft works.

The Crawling Man is an important piece of the puzzle for all who played the game, further exploring the backstory behind Mojse, his beliefs, struggles, and the event that finally turned him into what he is in the game. An interesting insight into how one´s faith can turn against him, and change a being into the exact opposite of what it stood for. On the technical side, the visuals are nice, continuing the hand drawn style of the game, and the accompanying sound backdrop bolsters the world immersion. Nice read, could be a bit more expanded, a bit more interaction with the comic wouldn´t hurt for a truer comic / game hybrid, but overall A+.

It is a very interesting comic that manages to combine Lovecraftian vibes with small town folklore characteristic for Croatia. The tale itself hit all the right marks of the Lovecraftian horror for me and extra effects (minor animation and occasional sound effects) really helped in setting the atmosphere. It is short but I would say it is fair given that the price is only 2 euros while at sales you can get it as low as 70 cents. Although I will say calling it "interactive" isn't really the most accurate description as you can only really slightly move camera of comic panel and set your own pace for flipping the pages, but still a good comic

Zvláštní hra, která vlastně ani tak moc hrou není. Jde o divný a chvílemi i celkem nechutný příběh, který nedokážete nijak měnit. Jen klikáte a sledujete. Spíš bych to doporučila než nedoporučila, ale nijak obzvlášť mě to neuchvátilo...

Love the creepy comic vibe and the story is great. Interesting artwork and sound design. I hope to see more from the developers in the future, the team that did this is amazing. 10/10 would recommend!

One of the best interactive comics I've read in recent times
