I was actually really excited about this game when I first watched the trailer but this game is not worth the full price its (to me) VERY VERY boring. Its trying to have BOTW gameplay but it feels WAYYY too big and there isn't much to do. The music is even boring.
A gorgeous game with a heartwarming and relatable coming of age story. Also, VERY buggy, but enjoyable despite that fact.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Beautiful game but bad game design. I can't complete one of the first quests because of a bug where beetles don't spawn. This is after I was given the quest that explained what I needed to do but the quest log didn't list all the steps that a character gave me, so the log was effectively useless. A character wouldn't sell me a map because I didn't have 50 money, but I actually had 120 money. They wanted me to talk to a character to introduce currency but I already had it. The UI is also poorly done. The tabs on the top don't loop around so you have to go back and forth. When you want to exit the game it kicks you back to the title screen and makes you watch logos. This game wasn't work the price even on sale.
TLDR: Buy the game on a sub $10 sale if you're interested. I would like to preface that I completed majority of the game (missing like 5 trophies I think) on my single play through. There's a lot to love with this game, but unfortunately there are also major flaws present as well that I feel need to be addressed and can't be ignored when looking at this game holistically.
Lack of Performance Stability on Steam Deck:
I bought this game to mainly to play casually on my SD. It's so perfect for that sort of scenario. It played great... For the few moments I could hit a stable 60 fps. Even with every setting turned to the lowest, it seems like the frame rate is all over the place depending on where you point the camera. So, as you actively move the camera around, you'll notice drops and rises in FPS. In my play through, I would see a variability of 20-60 FPS in both on foot and on bike. For an indie game made in 2021 to perform this badly on the SD (and potentially on lower end PCs) is insane, especially when the open world environment should in theory be sparse enough for stability - not a lot is happening on screen with this game.
Major camera issues:
When traversing environments, talking to NPCs in closed spaces, and in other scenarios, the camera has a large tendency to just spaz out and be angled in a way that makes the main character non-viewable or off kilter. It's so immersion breaking and happens quite often.
Majority of NPC Dialogue is Bland:
If I were to choose a word or two, a lot of the NPC dialogue in this game felt very "safe" and "uninspiring". I tried my best to read every word, but by hour 10 I found myself mashing through dialogue more often than not. Additionally, the whole "they/them" pronouns thrown on certain characters in the world was so out of left field and completely took me out of the story considering how forced it felt. Every time it happened, it made me have to double back to make sense of what was being said about who and just made me question, "Why is this needed in a story based on a desert planet?" My guess is that dialogue direction for characters came from SBI (as they are credited), who has become notorious for being subpar as a writing/direction consultant on games over the past couple of years. There are other gripes I have, such as some quests being pretty boring, but I would say that I had fun with this game overall. Still, I cannot recommend it at full price. It's not worth it unless you find it on sale for <$10. Any who, I'm buying a vinyl of the soundtrack because its 🔥.
Sable is supposed to be a game about self discovery of its protagonist. The thing I discovered about myself is that my appreciation of pastel colors took a sharp dive. The trailer looked pretty colorful, and the game can be like that at times. But I will remember it as "this desaturated game without any stakes" - if at all. There's no conflict to resolve, no secret to uncover, nothing really to motivate for 10+ hours. I can appreciate a game without any violence. However there's a fine line between being "calming" and "boring". And Sable crossed that line very early on.
I really love the art style, and over the years I had a great time just wandering through the world and soaking in the atmosphere. Trying to return to this game recently and the constant microstutters and audio hitching completely pull me out of the experience and make the game unenjoyable. Even after trying DXVK or limiting the framerate. :/ If the technical side of the game had been polished, this honestly could’ve been one of my favorite games. It’s a shame those issues were never properly addressed in a patch.
Sable is a true 10/10 game. The art, music, ambiance, story, and even Chums! This was such a peaceful, meditative game to come back to over and over again. It's the type of rare gem that you want more of, but you know that it's special because it's singular. Thanks devs! This was a ride!
