Reviews
If only this game got a revamp with better graphics, more characters and it matches up with the current seasons of RWBY this would be amazing.
Got this game because m siblings were playing it, and i found it rather enjoyable even with the slow laptop i was on. I'd recommend this to RWBY fans, but maybe not so much hack n' slash genre fans, since it gets a little repetitive. IF you buy it and hope on in, make sure you're combat ready.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

i usually don't enjoy platformers, but this one has pretty fun unique combos for all its characters. gameplay is very solid for what seems to be a pretty small game. it's also a treat to hear the original VAs again! however, the story is not very long... you'll probably complete it within 2-4h. it also doesn't add much to the canon. recommend buying at 50% off; HIGHLY recommend if 75% off. otherwise, only recommended if you really love the franchise and/or rooster teeth.
Honestly a good hack and slash pass time
I'd say it's pretty alright, it's simple, there isn't much story, and it can get boring if you're playing alone. However if you have friends and you turn the difficulty high up it can be fun to play. $20 for the game though is a little bit much in my opinion.
TLDR: If you're a fan of the show, you might get a kick out of this game. Otherwise, you should pass on this. For fans of the show, you're dealing with the characters from before Volume 3 participating in a non-canon filler arc. The villain's personality and motivation are as forgettable as the environments you fight in. The combat lacks the flair of even the worst fights in the show and none of the characters interact with each other during gameplay. There is fun in fighting as the characters against the Grimm, but this game only offers the bare minimum enjoyment a product can provide a fan: "It's tied to RWBY." For non-fans, the combat is clunky with short combo strings against the same sets of enemies in enclosed spaces for little under 3 hours. The characters have obnoxious voice lines with high pitched voices and almost never react to any of the plot beats in the story. Co-op play is still alive, but it doesn't elevate the game enough to justify the price. There are far better anime beat-em ups you could be playing with more personality and engaging gameplay than RWBY. If you want a RWBY game, I'd recommend waiting for RWBY: Arrowfall. The developer is WayForward and their track record speaks for itself.
I don't even own this game.
9/21...
game is fine but is infuriating especially after you beat it
