Experience the thrill of waterslides, gliding through twisting paths to explore new areas. It’s a fast-paced, exhilarating way to navigate the Backrooms !
Level 0: The starting point of your nightmare. Navigate through the dimly lit, yellow-tinted hallways filled with old, musty carpets and flickering fluorescent lights.
Level 0.2: A darker, more treacherous variation of Level 0. The paths are narrower, and the environment is even more disorienting.
Level 1: Transition to a slightly more industrial setting with concrete walls and parking.
Level 2: A sprawling maze of dark, damp tunnels and echoing footsteps. The claustrophobic environment tests your endurance as you navigate through pipes and avoid hazardous obstacles.
Level 3: A chaotic blend of industrial and organic elements, with machinery intertwined with strange, pulsating growths.
Level 4: An expansive, decrepit office space filled with endless rows of cubicles and malfunctioning electronics.
Level 0?: A surreal, overgrown version of Level 0, where vegetation has taken over the familiar hallways.
Level 5: The Abandoned Hotel. An eerie, deserted hotel with shifting, dimly lit corridors and ghostly apparitions.
Level 37 (Poolrooms) : An expansive complex of interconnected rooms and corridors slightly submerged in undulating, lukewarm water.
Level 10 : The Infinite Fields. An endless expanse of overgrown wheat fields under a perpetually overcast sky.
Ocean Poolrooms : A submerged island of interconnected, flooded rooms.
Level 389 : The Gaming Hall, It resides under the complete control of The G̵̷̶̢͕̖̝̼͍͉̫̮͔̜̣̟̩̠̼̙̱̟̦̾̂̈̂ͭ͐̽͐̐͊̈̍͘̚͠͞a̱͎̤̋̔̈̈m̛̳̰͇͂ͬ̍ͩ̋̍ę͕̝̰̹ͬͤ̑͝ͅ M̶̨̧̮̻͇̮̼̠̹̝͍̒ͮ́̈͆ͪͧͭa̷͙͓̣̓͒ͫ͆͗̕͜s̖̪͔̫̼̪̾̆t̸̨̮̪̤̣̝̾͋̋̈͑̔̊̚̕͡è̶̴̛͖̼̝̪̤̖͔͓̼̻̏ͮͭ̈͒ͯͨ͆ͭ̄̍͋͛̈ͬ̚̚͟r̴̴̵̛̝̺̣̖͈͎͚̻̻̖̦͖̖̩̺̩̬ͨ̊̓̽̂̀̾̃ͧ͌̅̆̏͘͞ͅ.

Level 404 : A broken space where reality corrupts, filled with distorted walls, floating textures, and endless visual errors.
Neon Poolrooms : A surreal network of pools illuminated by fluorescent neon lights, where the water shimmers with an eerie glow and shadows seem to dance to the rhythm of an inaudible melody.
Level Old Memories: A world frozen in pixelated nostalgia, where strangely familiar landscapes stretch endlessly.
Survive the Unseen: The Backrooms are home to unknown entities and phenomena. Stay alert, stay quiet, and most importantly, stay alive.

Reviews
A standart problem. The game has a) beautiful visuals (level 148 almost made me cry, one of the best audio/image among many backrooms games that I had played before), b) amazing sound design both atmospheric ambience and monsters. At the same time models of the monsters are terrible and their animations are messy too. But it would've been a great pleasure just to wander (the last three levels were close to perfection) if I didn't have to meet INFINITE scripts with poorly made monsters. As I say, it is definitely worth a try but I can't recommend the gameplay itself.
Amazing game! It needs some polishing, but I believe in this game so much! I recommend it, it’s truly an amazing experience for only 8 bucks lol!!
For the developer, the game is pretty solid over all, and its fun but increase the duration of the flashlight battery and decrease the darkness because i cant actually play and beat the level 0 because i LITERALLY CAN'T SEE NOTHING EVEN MY STEPS!!! PLEASE FIX IT I WANT TO PLAY!!!!
"Running Through Backrooms" is a fantastic survival horror game that every fan of horror and the Backrooms concept needs to play! Not only does it deliver a visually stunning and terrifying experience with its 14 unique levels, but it’s also super affordable. For just 7,79€, you get a high-quality game made by a solo dev !! The gameplay is super scary and exciting !!! Each level is crafted with so much creativity, from the eerie "Level 0" to the mysterious "Poolrooms." There’s always something beautiful and horrifying around the corner. The visuals are absolutely breathtaking, and the game runs smoothly on my PC without any issues, which is impressive for such detailed graphics. One of the best part of the game is the sound design and lighting perfectly enhance the horror, which amplify the tension and make every moment feel like a life-or-death decision. If you love survival horror or have ever been intrigued by the Backrooms lore, this is the game for you ! At this price, it’s a steal, and you’ll absolutely get your money’s worth. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves being scared!!! :p
Just completed the game. Its one magnificent realistic backrooms experience, around like 15 large levels with entitites, superb graphics and amazingly fun gameplay. Very amazing game
very good
The game is faithful to the history of the backrooms. We feel that the developer wanted to push the concept, but it remains basic overall. No multiplayer unfortunately. The maincharacter speaks but to say naive things.- The negative things: Not enough battery, a lot of batteries that you can't grabs because they're buggy and they don't last long enough. I found myself in the pool level with no light, I went through the walls by double jumping, impossible to find any recoverable battery, I stopped at the pool level, it was too much for me. We cannot modify the sensitivity, the sound, the graphic level at a minimum. The indications for getting out of it are weak but we understand. Positive things: The graphics quality is good thanks to Unreal Engine 5. The slide mechanics are good but not very useful. like jumping on walls but it's fun to use. The double jump doesn't find its use yet or I missed it but still fun. The atmosphere is in keeping with the concept of the backrooms. It's a good game that needs improvement overall. I wouldn't recommend it until all the little flaws are fixed. I like to parkour maybe not in the backrooms ? or it need maybe more freedom to use it
