I really like this game and I find it very interesting and cute. I love the combat and the farming and the world is super beautiful. But I think it's still in too early access to really enjoy it. Everything is in working progress, I cannot figure out what I am supposed to do because the only thing I can check is the crafting menu. No quest or guide where I am supposed to go or anything and this makes the game very confusing and like I am wasting my time a bit in the game. I walked around a lot and there was nothing else to do. The arrow keep pointing at the ruins you find when you first arrive but nothing I click or do is making anything happen. So right now, I don't recommend the game, better to wait a bit until they've finished it more.
Super cosy game! 10/10!
first things first, excuse my english i´m a german 90´s kid. games like Terranigma, Secret of Mana and so been part of my youth all points are my personal opinion, dont judge me for that i played in EARLY ACCES and i started with the demo to have a look, so i wanted more.... first the only maybe negative point for new players: the start in the rift could be a little confusing BUT: theres a guide map see here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3147013573 dont click if u wann find the way on ur own the game is a 2,5d mix with zelda like gameplay and u can change the world, craft, build, terraform, plant and harvest or breed animals like in blockcraft games. the whole game is under develop by Artimus, who does the work onstream on twitch having interested people and players community in chat and interacting each other. the graphic is very as detailed as possible for the genre, you can feel the heArt of developing it. the game is not typically go there do this with questlog and marker, so you have to find out a little urself what u can or should do. this may be a little confusing for non used to players but is not like all the standard rpg´s. therefore you´re not forced to do anything, all possible, nothing forced to do. just feel free to travel, explore, grind ores, and other ressources, craft, build ur home and outposts or fight enemies and the bosses. becaus its early acces and under constant developement, new features will make their way into the game constantly from time to time. demo / demo features: -because its a demo u can NOT load game saves, but buying the game u can continue ur demo games -after finishing the rift, u have 50 minutes time do everything u personally are abled to in time, like explore mine, fight bosses and other features mentioned -u can do new runs to find out or test other things u havent in ur first try so if ur not sure to buy an early acces i recommend to play the demo and get hungry for more ;) all in all i recommend this game for all people that enjoy indie, pixelart with love in details, the ability to change the gameworld, craft, explore, fight or just have a cozy time and as a bonus feel free to watch further developement live on twitch or watch the vods
Runika is a really cute and cozy game. It gave me a bit of a Stardew Valley feeling, but with more focus on exploring the world. The pixel art is beautiful and full of small details, which makes the world feel very charming. The developer is also a super kind person, and you can even watch the development on Twitch, which is really nice to see. I played the Early Access version and already had a lot of fun. Some things were a bit hard to figure out at first (like which materials to combine to get new tools and materials), but since it’s still Early Access that’s totally fine. It was actually kind of fun to experiment and discover things. I’m really looking forward to the final release and especially the new story elements! :>
Schade. Da ist definitiv mehr Potential drinnen. Hoffe es ist nicht abandoned.
