Runestone:Pathfinders

"Runestone: Pathfinder" is a 3D adventure platformer. Supposedly, it is set in the world of Runestone and you play as a rookie pathfinder chicken in his first trial... Well... What trial? If the developer hadn't added a description, you wouldn't understand anything from within the game. Even with the description, I still don't see any story. It's horribly optimised and laggy. Meanwhile, it requires the specs of an AAA game! The controls aren't consistent at all. Sometimes it does what it should, other times no. So your playtime will increase only from unfair and out of your control setback. Despite all these, it manages to do well in the menu and options. There is real effort here and nothing has been neglected. I'm glad to see effort being put into it, even though, the final outcome leaves a lot to be desired. The only reason to buy this, is to play as a cute chicken that collects feathers and changes its backpack. And that only because it's cheap. If you enjoy seeing a chick flapping its wings, it's fine. Other than that, it has no story, no gameplay, bad mechanics, inconsistency and lag. There is potential here but, it requires a ton of work. If the "game" gets fixed and becomes an actual game, I will revisit it and hopefully change my review. In its current state, I can't recommend it just because it has a cute chick... Cute simple casual, but poorly optimized, yet better than the [i]Dream Dealer[/i] game. 6/10
