A pleasant surprise. While this game is unlikely to get out of early acces, in it's current state it is playable without a problem (at least I did not come across one). It may be short, but I've fully enjoyed every moment I've spend flying around in this game. I also really like the controls of the flying and I would like more vr games to implement something similar, as it was a great experience. If you're looking for a quick co-op to play with your friend with vr, consider trying this one. I don't regret buying this even before it was set as a free game. 7/10
This is a pretty strange title. I played the tutorial and the Story mode (only 3 levels at the time of this review), which took me just under an hour to complete. I wasnt a fan of the controls - having to keep the grips pressed in order to fly and seemingly having to do it on both controls to move at speed. I use the word speed lightly, a little more would be welcome! Having spent 75% of my time playing with both hands clenched (and pretty much all the rest of the time with 1), they are a bit sore. The options are sparse. But this is typical in VR games. Im not too concerned with not having lots of sliders, but when there is a sore spot like controls, being able to choose alternative modes would be appreciated. At present there is only the option to either toggle/hold for using shield, and "Lazy" or "Normal" for flying around, which I actually couldnt tell apart! Admittedly I didnt spend much time trying each. But "Lazy" lets you fly where your controllers point (which is what I prefer in general), and "Normal" ... I cant remember the wording exactly, but it involved your head - I thought it was to fly in the direction you are looking, but thats not it. It felt pretty much the same, if perhaps slower? So I went back the Lazy. Graphically its ok, pushing basic. Its a case of the levels feeling a bit bare bones, at least some of them anyway. The tut and first story level could use a little dressing up. The 2nd and 3rd (boss) level felt better. This is still EA, and it feels it. But there is potential here. While I found I was getting bored on the 1st level and contemplated quitting, the 2nd level completely changed my mind about this thing! Its a rollercoaster ride, no really its literally a rollercoaster ride! You ride a dragon and grab its head to guide it. Its on rails, with an invisible tether which can be annoying, but it really was a lot of fun! I would honestly buy a game made up entirely of that! I hope to see more of it in future levels! So, while I found the game has rough edges, I do want to say that I understand its still in EA. AND critically it is still being worked on. For the time and effort put in here, the devs are asking a fair price and I wish them the best with completing it. The Bad - dying while looking at the menu, and respawning while the menu is still open - in the distance! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1508427706 The Good/Amazing - holding on to a dragon like its a space hopper with an engine and loving every minute https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1508428039

honestly, playing any longer would have given me a little bit of a headache. movement was hard to get control of, enemies seemed pretty basic, and it was overall kind of a lack luster experience. It's for sure an early access game that I would probably get into when its more fleshed out. I would also like to point out that there was absolutely no sound whatsoever on my end, I tried messing with settings but I never heard anything from the game. (could be a me issue)
You cant hit anything with your given weapons and the movement meachanics means you can't keep your course and shoot at the same time. Also you are going to smack ♥♥♥♥ whether thats the roof, wall or your shelf is up to chance.

trash and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ . what a piece of ♥♥♥♥
Overall it's fine, but the controls suck which is a real pain for VR. Desperately needs smooth turning, Normal flying doesn't make sense, it just feels like Lazy but slower, and the gameplay all just kinda feels hollow. Maybe it's because there's no music or because I'm playing solo but it all just feels off.

it's pretty cool and it's free. may as well give it a shot right?
