Fetch I'm not sure what role we play here but our job is to obtain keys to proceed from one room to the next. All this taking place in a museum where 3 separate directions indicate 3 different levels of difficulty. The gallery in front is the most labyrinthine, therefore, the most difficult. Treat A treat is what this game is! You'll notice immediately the paintings that resemble famous ones but here you have their dog equivalent. They are done so well that you can recognise right away what they were based on: the canine version of Mona Lisa, Girl With A Pearl Earring, American Gothic, The Son of Man and even a Van Gogh portrait appear. Companion It appears that the paintings are ghosts that follow you around in your quest of fetching keys. Just like your loyal pet and if you allow them to get too close licking you will be inevitable. In a way, this is meant to be a light-hearted version of a horror walking sim where we are hunted by monsters. Once licked we are back at the beginning of the section we started so you shouldn't worry about losing progress. Stray Essentially, taking a look regularly at the artwork surrounding you while moving around will be mandatory. Turning your back on our pets will make them come out of the frame. In fact, the paintings themselves can reappear in a different place in a corridor. Make sure you regularly keep looking back to avoid these ghosts. Breed This is an interesting breed of a walking sim. Ever heard of NewGame+ in this genre? This game adds that option following a successful walkthrough. In this new mode turning around or even strafing will not be possible. You can only move forward. Of course, looking around will still be possible. What a great idea to increase the difficulty! Bark No, no barks here, just a praise! This is a fantastic indie game with an innovative idea. It shouldn't take longer than 20-30 minutes to complete. Have fun!
Pretty cool suspense cute horror. If you liked Spooky House of Jumpscares this is a game for you! Got to avoid ghostly dogs haunting the art pictures while trying to find the keys. Would check this one out even if it wasn't F2P.
Ruff Night At The Gallery, sanat eserleri, köpekler ve ürkütücü hayaletlerin yer aldığı sevimli, kısa biçimli bir korku şaheseridir.
Moderately spooky weeping angels-esque, but lacks a point or narrative that I would need to give a positive review

'Ruff Night At The Gallery' is an adorable short-form horror game with a unique concept. You explore a creepy art gallery at night, encountering haunted paintings 🖼️ of dogs 🐶 and spooky ghosts 👻. The game includes a save feature with multiple checkpoints, an extra level with a higher difficulty that becomes available only after completing the first level, well-crafted horror sounds, and charming canine-themed art. Completing the game, including the extra level, took me approximately 15 minutes, though it lacks any Steam achievements. While there is only one ending, the multiple checkpoints make it easy to restart if needed. The difficulty depends on your playstyle: if you're comfortable using checkpoints, I’d rate the difficulty at 1/10. But if you aim to complete the levels without being caught by the ghosts, the challenge increases, with the normal level rated by me at 4/5 and the New Game + mode at 6/10. The game’s short-form design makes it perfect for a quick but immersive experience. You’ll collect keys to unlock new areas of the gallery, but there’s a catch: the paintings move when you’re not looking! This adds an enjoyable layer of challenge as you navigate the spooky environment and dodge ghostly surprises. Just when you think you’ve got the hang of it, 'Ruff Night At The Gallery' ups the ante with the New Game + mode, where you can only use the up arrow key to move. It’s a hilarious twist that provides a rewarding challenge for players looking for more difficulty. Overall, 'Ruff Night At The Gallery' is an entertaining, bite-sized game that combines light horror with canine charm. While it’s not particularly deep or complex, it’s a fun diversion, especially for dog lovers or those seeking something quirky and quick. Just don’t get licked! esse jogo me fez desenvolver medo de furrys...
For being a free game this has some nice graphics, gameplay, and fun little soundtrack. The premise is that you're (apparently?) locked in this gallery and need to find a bunch of keys to escape. Or you're an art enthusiast, I dunno. Thing is if you aren't looking at these paintings they're watching you, and those dogs in the art aren't happy with just watching. They'll chase after you the second you look away, and even teleport their frames around the room to catch you off guard! Now this game is cute and charming, and the dogs only lick you if they catch you, but they do so with the force of a jumpscare that's highly effective. So be prepared for that when you play. The game ramps up in difficulty quickly, so be prepared to get snuck up on and licked. A lot. That said it's a good game to pick up if you're looking for something cute but creepy or something quick to pick up and play.
