This game is incredibly good for the price. The game feels very similar to Super Hexagon while also being completely different. It is an incredibly simple concept that is executed great. There is nothing more I can really say other than, it is $2. even if you play it for 15 min, that's a better value proposition than a movie ticket.
i like this game and its visual and relaxing featrues i think this game should win the 'sit back and relax award cuz its very relaxing, i have had this game for a while now and it has very hard challenges. the point of the game is simple but it gets harder and harder. and its also quite fun. for people has have bad eyesight, poor eyes, etc you shouldnt play this game. Your brain could have a hard time knowing what to do but in a while your ace it
It's equal parts trippy and partial memorization. It's kinda difficult to practice. It really is fly by the seat of your pants. But I HIGHLY recommend. Just... not if you're prone to seizures, blinding lights, or motion sickness. Otherwise, TOTALLY worth the price
这游戏有点智障,三个槽点:1,音乐真难听2,时慢时快也就算了,卡不上点就离谱3,我就算没有光癫痫也快被这个游戏整出来了
Trouvaille fantastique.
Well made game, cool graphics.
Roundabout 3 is a pointless and objectively failed minimalist 2D action/reflexes arcade game with a simple (in all respects of the word) core game loop... all you do is tap a button to make a right turn. This is dumber than driving your car to a roundabout and just driving in circles. This is less engaging than Super Hexagon. Space Invaders is more sophisticated than this dribble. And this was published, no joke, straight face, in this decade. Someone genuinely thought it would be okay to publish this. Steam Direct is a disasater. Even worse, the fact this is "Roundabout 3" and not "Roundabout" implies there's potentially at least 2 more of these. Wow, turns out this is a horror game. I'm terrified at the thought. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic low quality vector art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the mediocre 2D visuals. The game features extremely lazy, minimalist "art", of the type you normally expect to see in low effort Flash/browser games and mobile apps. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing. The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just iPhone screen tapping stuff. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here. This is indistinguishable from a mobile app, but they put this on Steam instead of the app stores by mistake. Was it rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all)?. Regardless, for all intents and purposes Roundabout 3 might as well be a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 6 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 130,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 130,000+ games on Steam? Roundabout 3 is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 14,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
