These are the type of games I can really appreciate. Rotund Zero is a classic example of simplicity and replayablity mixing well in a game. You get 5 minutes to go through as many levels as possibles. You have these up or down blocks that helps you bounce from platform to platform. The controls feels tight, and I really do love the gameboy aesthetics and music. Really fun stuff, and I highly recommend anyone to purchase this game for something you want to play for a good hour every now and then. There is incentives to keep you playing, and you feel rewarded when you get through the levels as fast as you could. I didn't check, but if there steam leader-boards. That would be a huge plus.
Fun autojumper platformer. Only complaint is having to unlock levels through zero mode is annoying.

This is such a wonderfully made game!!! From the style of the GameBoy, to the difficult platforming... It nails it in every category! Working on trying to get through as many levels as possible, while being faced with many enemies & obstacles who are carefully placed all around you is such a fun and unique challenge. Though it's quite frustrating, the satisfaction behind every cleared room makes up for all time spent on it! I'm hoping to see a large community built around this game in the future! Well done! I hope to find more like this in the future!
Simple and satisfying platformer that runs well on any OS, screen size or frame rate. What else do you need?
This is one of the best games I've ever played! The game is very challenging which is a good change of pace for me. I like the old-time design of the game. The soundtrack is very good and catchy. The characters are very cute.
Rotund Zero is so fun and addictive. It makes time fly! I love the style of the game and how it pays tribute to older consoles (more specifically the GameBoy). I love the attention to detail like how the characters are (the hawks wearing hats or how Chubbin's ears move up and down when you jump, or how the icon is a GameBoy cartridge itself). The gameplay itself is challenging but that's the fun of it. I typically enjoy more slower paced games, but I have never felt more accomplished getting a close to the record. It's also nice to be able to customize the music and background of the game too! You can tell that the developers put a lot of attention and love into this game which makes playing it so worth it. I highly recommend this game for anyone looking for a challenge or change of pace to their regular style gaming :)
I've written some information about Rotund Zero for my blog: https://www.mrdavepizza.com/rotund-zero-igc-showcase/ This is a nice economy version to accompany the full-fledged Rotund series that is apparently based on an original Wii U game called Chubbins, which I thought was interesting. This Rotund Zero version is significantly entertaining as a platformer muse . I had a little trouble at first figuring out the way the blocks worked, but after I spent some more time with it, I got a feel for the way it works. It is challenging, but low-key and fun. Solid indie, and good price. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNfc_SGvXmo
A really fun platformer game with a couple unique twist that are really well-executed: You are always bouncing, and the floor isn't entirely solid. There are two modes, both of which are very enjoyable. The mode unique to this particular game is Zero Mode, which is a race to see how many levels you can complete in five minutes. There's also Time Attack, which is a more traditional mode where you can play each level individually and try to beat them as fast as you can. This game is pretty challenging, but it's always fair. The level design is consistently great, and the controls are pretty much flawless. Rotund Zero (along with the other two games in this series) is a must-play if you enjoy platformer games whatsoever.
