Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 31 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
A Charming and Relaxing Platformer - With a Super Mario Bros 1 (NES) vibe.
Ronny’s Climb is a short but delightful retro-style platformer that captures the nostalgia of classic 2D games while adding a few modern twists. It’s not the most challenging platformer out there, but it offers a smooth and rewarding experience for players of all skill levels.
Gameplay & Mechanics
At its core, Ronny’s Climb is a straightforward platformer where you guide Ronny up a mountain in a climbing competition. The movement feels fluid, and as you progress, you unlock new abilities like higher jumps, dashes, and ground pounds to help you navigate trickier terrain. Along the way, you'll encounter hazards like spikes, bats, and falling stalactites, but the generous checkpoint system ensures frustration stays low. Collecting gems adds an extra layer of challenge, requiring careful exploration to find hidden passageways and unlockable areas. The optional time trials and achievements also provide some replayability for those looking for a greater challenge.
Visuals & Sound
The pixel art is vibrant and well-crafted, giving each level a distinct personality. The characters you meet along the way add charm, and their witty banter makes the journey even more enjoyable. The retro-inspired soundtrack is catchy and fits the adventure perfectly, enhancing the overall atmosphere.
What Makes It Special?
What stands out in Ronny’s Climb is its casual-friendly approach. While many modern platformers lean towards extreme difficulty, this one is more about fun and discovery. It offers a few tricky moments, especially for completionists aiming for 100% gem collection, but it remains accessible without being punishing. The inclusion of NPCs who climb alongside you adds a fun dynamic, and their interactions bring a lighthearted touch. The game embraces the idea that it’s "about the journey, not the destination," making for a stress-free and enjoyable playthrough.
Final Verdict
Ronny’s Climb is a short but well-crafted platformer that’s perfect for a relaxing gaming session. It won’t test your patience like precision platformers, but it will bring a smile to your face with its charming world, smooth gameplay, and nostalgic vibes. Whether you’re looking for a casual game to unwind with or an indie gem to complete 100%, this one is worth a climb. Pros:

Smooth and satisfying platforming
Charming pixel art and fun NPC interactions
Optional challenges add replayability
Relaxing yet engaging gameplay
Cons:

A bit short (about an hour for a basic run)
Could use difficulty options for more challenge
Final Score: 8/10 – A lovely, low-stress platformer with plenty of charm!

Fantastic game, really well-polished, great level design, bangin' soundtrack and art, just wish there was more!
This is a cute game! A short, but sweet platform game that's not completely and utterly punishing like newer games on the market. The artwork well done. It's got a good story about it; a climbing competition. It's a chill play-at-your-own-pace game with cute characters!
Short but fun little platformer. I really enjoyed the fact that the NPC follow you up. Though I do wish they didn't drop out so quickly and they all got dialog for when they dropped out rather than just not making it any further.
Neat game. It's a old-school platformer with fun secrets to find. Story is short but sweet, and the challenges are make me to beat them and play more.
Fun little cute game! It brought back many memories from my 90's childhood when I used to play MS-DOS platformer games. It was actually easy to play for me and not challenging, but still entertaining. I really love the charming retro pixelart graphics. If you have little kids who want to play a game, I'd recommend this family-friendly game for sure!
This is such a sweet game and yet you need to be smart. I enjoyed the story right to the end. The visual is supreme and the game play, let me tell you it is not boring, This is a very good game as a platform, It can be done with a hand controller or a keyboard. The ending is a little difficult to beat, but if you keep your cool it can be done. I will be playing this game for hours to beat my last score and get all af the gems for they are well hidden. So ya this is a 10 thumbs up for me.
Collectable Collectathons review: 8/10. Well-polished but short 2D platformer that's fairly easy and chill and absolutely not precision, though it does require skill. It controls like a 2D Mario (including jumping on heads to kill enemies), but with a greater emphasis on collecting Gems. The Gems are optional but rewarding, as a little thought & memory is required to collect them all. This adds some variety to what would be otherwise a very well-trod game genre. There are 100 per level, and I was able to find 95% of them without being obsessive, which was plenty to get the token reward for each level (an extra heart). Playing this way takes about 1 hour to finish the game; you can stretch it out by also pursuing other achievements like zero damage etc. In a fairly modern take on the 16-bit platformer, there are infinite lives and fairly frequent checkpoints. So death is just a moderate slap on the wrist, typically setting you back 10-20 seconds of progress. For this reason the game is very chill and feels almost casual. But not overly so - there are some tricky jumps, little puzzles, and some mazes. This is not just a mindless "go right" kind of game. And not just because the goal is always above you, not to the right ;-0 Seriously though, this is not a puzzle platformer, but it borrows enough from that genre to add some noticeable flavor. And finally, yes, there's a story, told thru chatting with folks you meet along the way. It's surprisingly fresh and not particularly distracting from the action, plus you can just skip talking to everybody if you tire of it. The ending was kind of interesting tho, so there is at least some reward if you keep at it.
