Gra jest świetna i klimatyczna. Akrobacje na wrotkach rodem z Tony Hawk's plus strzelanie slo-mo jak z Max Payne i to wszystko w komiksowej oprawie graficznej.
Great game with beautiful comic graphics and a really cool story. The minimalist graphical approach lets the flow of the gameplay shine in the very front, and rightfully so because that's what this game does best. I love the combination of action combat and extreme sports and this game absolutely delivers that idea. It's one of those rare gems that you might find by accident but you'll remember it forever. My only gripe with the game is, that both movement and trick inputs are tied to the analogue stick which makes doing said tricks with any consistency an absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nightmare-- I'd much prefer those input to be bound with the D-pad. Unfortunately re-mapping isn't possible because the weapon wheel just doesn't want to work with the joystick. I realise that this may be a me problem and it takes nothing away from the game and so for that and many other reasons I'm giving this game a honest 9/10.
A prime example in why form over function can turn flair into flop. Tragically, allowing people to play this with keyboard and mouse will sour their experience early. It did with me, as its the gaming equivalent of going to a vegan restaurant as a non-vegan and being yelled at for having your elbows on the table. I wanted to enjoy this, and it looked right up my alley. But once I got the PS5 controller going, the experience brought me past the second mission. Third one still caused me to die though, but again, the "assists" which were probably asked for by their publisher saved the day and got me past that. Then came the third roadblock - you got to complete "challenges" to progress to the next level, because how else are they gonna stretch play time? 5/5 aesthetic, 4/5 presentation, 2/5 gameplay. I am weighing down just because of how frustrating it is - and I wonder if at some point if was ever considered that Kara Hassan could trip or fall and be left vulnerable to attack - and they just went with limited bullets as being the primary constraint instead of balance. Thank god, I might have flipped the table otherwise. Far be it from some random stranger to tell you how to sell your AAA-publisher game, but if you wanted it to do well and not end up on as a key bundle game, you needed to put this BS PAST the refund window.
Super fun and innovative game. It felt like a splice of the style and mechanics of OlliOlli World and action of Severed Steel. The gameplay was seamless and intuitive, containing a large capacity for skill expression and scores to chase. Roll7’s cel-shaded art style will never get old, and the use of colours was striking. I recommend this to anyone interested, particularly if you like skating games and/or Roll7’s previous work. It was highly enjoyable, incredibly snappy, and the perfect length. RIP Roll7 </3
Holly hell, this is Tony Doom with Hawk's Pro Skate. A pure dopamine bomb of a game!
Few games pay such a strong homage to their influences while remaining utterly unique. Rollerdrome is a mash-up of arcade sports and style shooting with a vividly memorable setting and treatment.
Great game

Rollerdrome is the kind of game that feels like it was designed by someone who asked what would happen if you combined a sport you already love with a completely different genre and then committed to that question completely. Roll7 took the momentum and trick systems you would expect from a skating game and wrapped a third person shooter around them in a way that actually makes mechanical sense rather than feeling like a gimmick. Reloading by performing tricks is one of those ideas that seems obvious in retrospect but nobody had done it, and the execution is clean enough that it becomes second nature faster than you expect. The art style does a lot of work in establishing tone. The cel shaded aesthetic with its muted palette and graphic novel sensibility gives the game a visual identity that feels genuinely considered rather than chosen by committee, and the dystopian sport spectacle setting it operates within has just enough world building around its edges to make the arenas feel like places rather than levels. The skill ceiling is where the game earns its replayability. Beating it is one thing but mastering the challenge objectives in each stage requires a fluency with the systems that takes real time to develop, and chasing those targets gives the game a second and third life beyond the campaign. For a game this stylish to also have that kind of mechanical depth is rarer than it should be. Roll7 built their reputation on the OlliOlli series and Rollerdrome feels like a studio operating at the peak of their confidence, applying everything they know about momentum based game feel to a bigger and more ambitious canvas. Whatever they do next is worth paying attention to for that reason alone. Runs great on Steam Deck and is well suited to shorter sessions of chasing your own best runs.
Challenging and fun mix of tricks, action, quick thinking strategy and shooting. I also love the art style.
