Roguelite 2

Pretty nice little roguelite game. The challenge is intermediate and there's enough variety to keep you entertained, and with the quests you have more goals to go for besides just reaching the end. It has some pacing issues and one run can take you 5-6 hours to complete (in Normal at least). But its low price still make it a good buy.

I'll be honest. At the $1 price tag (got it on sale) I was not expecting anything great. I like Rogue-like games, and it looked interesting, so thought I'd give it a try. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! This game is fun! Reminds me a lot of games of times back when, while being new. Being able to configure the Hero character to the role you want them to play is a very nice feature! The combination of party characters you can use (even just the base ones) is really fun, and make this rogue-lite a step up in the genre. I've been having a lot of fun playing this game! A friend of mine (who got this on my recommendation) and I will pass info back and forth on the cool unique items we've gotten, and how fun they are. Those items are total game-changers! Abilities from flat damage reduction, to a chance to hit everything with increased power, to imbuing attacks with elemental power.. truly, no two playthroughs are identical. If you like rogue-lites, give this game a chance. You won't be disappointed!
