A pretty fantasy rogue lite, which is nice to be in. Good stylized picture, interesting gameplay, where you and battle mage, and a little bit strategist I can see that the game was planned more and at least it was not polished, but I hope the developers will not drop this project
The idea of RPG in VR made me incredibly happy, I would like to see more such well-thought-out games in VR. The animations and art itself are amazing, considering that this is a game from indie developers, I applaud your creativity and skills. You guys did a wonderful work and I hope to see a part 2
rock and roots just ROOOCK what a beautiful, detailed game it is?! it was hard to take my eyes off, or rather, i didn’t want to take off my headset haha. I absolutely recommend it if you want to immerse yourself in a magical world filled with cool characters and interesting combat
The developers nailed the balance between challenge and enjoyment. The combat system is dynamic and strategic, requiring skill and tactics, yet it remains accessible for all players. This VR game doesn't just entertain; it challenges you in a way that leaves you hungry for more, making it a standout in the genre!
I took about 3 hours to grind enough card upgrades in order to finish the game. Of course, you can continue to upgrade other cards and gems for more play time. But after I completed a run once, I pretty much had seen enough. The graphics are standard and the music fits the atmosphere. Game play is easy to pick up and understand. There are however a number of negatives that prevent the game from really being good. You start with only one card and have to continue to grind for additional cards which come sparingly during the first few runs. The two potions you are given are rather worthless. The gem/magic power is also kind of weak and I didn't really use it much. I could never figure out what the scrolls are for as they seem to just disappear between runs and are never explained. Cards can get stuck in the book which make it difficult to swap cards between runs. Enemy archers are extremely deadly. Most of the game is figuring out where to hide yourself away to prevent archers from attacking you. Archers seem to prefer attacking the player over the spawned cards which really ruins the fun. I would like to see the archers target card spawns first or at least tone down their damage. Though once you figure out where to camp yourself, the game gets much easier. It ends up being a hide yourself, toss out cards when they are ready and grab mana founts when they appear sort of cycle. Rinse and repeat. The game feels half finished. It is like they tossed out the game in an Beta stage and hoped enough players would sign on to make it worth having a completed game. It really needs a few rounds of polish and more content. Oh, also ignore reviews that state there are only 3 cards. This is not true. I had around 8 cards unlocked after I completed my first run. The new cards are randomly spawned in chests from killed enemies. Sometime I collected those chests and sometimes I ignored them. It didn't seem to make much difference. So why recommend it? Well, there are far worse VR games out there than this one. There are some good ideas here. I just wish there was more to it. I'm hoping the devs will continue to expand this game. The idea of a card based action battler is unique and can be fun. If there is ever an update to this game, I will play it some more. Until then, I got a bit over 3 hours of interesting game play. Definitely get it on sale or part of a bundle. Passing tip: Concentrate on leveling up lower mana cards (1s and 2s) first. They can do a ton of damage. The higher level cards are nice but they can take too much mana to spawn.
I knew right away that I would buy this game as soon as I saw the trailer, because the TRAILER is JUST INCREDIBLE. And it was worth it! I am delighted with the game, it is very colorful, with fascinating gameplay and beautiful graphics. Kudos to the devs for incorporating diverse environments that not only look stunning but also impact gameplay.
Woooow, how beautiful! I really would like to get into such a fairy-tale world. thank you for this opportunity. I love it. I recommend it. I will definitely try other games from this company because I want to support the team
This is a very interesting format of fighting game and tactics, I like how EVERYTHING is done because it is INTERESTING and CATCHING, I put this game on the list of my favs and I hope that more people will play it.
