Road Works looks like a city building game but really it's a simple transit/business simulator. Build roads economically and tweak settings of the surrounding businesses to turn a profit. This is a lot like Sim City without the city building components, and if that seems like a dumb idea, well, here we are. There's a few transit simulation games on Steam, and all of them are better than this. People looking for a good transit simulator (why???) would be better off looking at Cities in Motion or similar.
omg soooooooooooooo low, plz don't buy it !!! Looka 20times better on the screenshots !!! 1st no tutorial or sth else!!!! --> a community member wrote a "guide" to get u pass level 1 and to let you know what actually to do... 2nd u do nth... u build 2 roads and thats it... you change some settings at the buildings and that was it.... I was lucky to get it for 1$ but even that is far too much....
没教学,不知道怎么上手。。根本玩不下去,我自以为玩的游戏还算多,但我玩了1个小时都没摸索出所以然来。 游戏的画面和ui也是简陋的可以,还好是喜+1得来的。
Nie podoba mi się! Żądam zwrotu pieniędzy!
Total waste of money
After playing this game once half a year ago, becoming frustrated and abandoning it after a couple of hours, I thought my money was wasted. However, I gave this game another go and appreciated the intellect and strategy underlying its complex mechanics. The campaign scenarios are brilliantly devised and definitely challenging. Funnily enough, the earlier missions have little room for error, but as you progress, it becomes a lot more forgiving. Thumbs up and I will definitely buy RoadWorks 2.
This feels as a student project. I couldn’t even play it because there is no tutorial and literally no way to discover yourself what are you supposed to do. You click buildings, no information really. Cars dumbly go one through another like they are ghosts, doesn’t matter one comes from one side and other in opposite direction. When placing roads you have no guidance whatsoever, sometimes you just can’t place them, god know why, Who lets this kind of games on steam? This game is outrageously bad.
Tags: Tycoon&Simulator&Sim&City Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library Take an old city or tycoon game. Say CaesarII for dos. Then take away the citizen unrest, the invasions, all the buildings, the disasters. Just keep the build roads menu. Now add little carts that go faster or slower based on road type. Pregenerate a bunch of buildings and ask the player to connect them. Thats this game. The audiovisual quality is insultingly low. The user interface is not satisfying to use. The game is unclear on what it wants you to do, and because of how poor everything is, you really kind of dont want to find out. Removed for library declutter.
