Rock n'Roll

After playing around six races, I can say that this is a pretty cool tribute to rock and roll racing that showcases some interesting graphical stuff, such as ragdoll physics on semi 2D art. The only thing that would make it better is more environments, and more car models because having only one car model to play with gets old to me, and also control sensitivity or steering speed for when you're playing on keyboard. Still a cool game, and I hope they add on more to it.

Fun game. Absolutely broken. One of the easiest games to get all achievements. It's a 6.5/11 for me, Could be a solid 8 if it was more challenging and also if you couldn't fill the map with mines.

If you're passing by this store page and wondering if this game is worth it... YES! It is. I bought it for $2.39 on Sale so it was a steal. You are probably like me and had R.C. PRO-AM back in the day (still do).. it was a very popular game back then. One of the best racing games on the NES. This game is basically R.C. PRO-AM with its own flavor, it really is a true successor to the name. The gameplay is actually really fun and addicting. The issues I have with the game are not really big problems. For example; I wish it was a little more colorful... everything looks brown. I wish the music was done in 8bit and I wish I could play it online against my buddies... Other DEVS would've charged you over $10 for this kind of quality. I highly recommend this game especially to RETRO gamers... I would even recommend it to people who aren't really into racing games. I recommend mainly because its so cheap. Also the controls are on point and its fun racing around the different tracks. However the game is too bare bones from what I've seen so far. Only 1 car to drive with limited upgrades. I already have too much money and Im a little over half way through. Has the base to be a great game but still not on the level of Rock n Roll racing.

Great fun! It's everything a good arcade combat racing game should be. Short, fast races, cool cars with destructive scenery bits, and loads of combat racing with upgrades. Good sound and music, too. Title screen looks totally awesome. I love all the extra little bits like the train and the planes etc (although I do feel like the planes are a little unfair and I haven't figured out how to avoid them yet!!!) it makes the races more challenging and more interesting. I've not played for very long yet - done 6 races so far (they're nice and short / arcadey length so perfect for grabbing a few minutes here and there) - but I'm loving this and looking forward to playing some more on my lunch breaks. I picked this up on sale for an absolute bargain, but I'd be happy if I'd paid full price for this too. It's a great little arcade game.
