fun engaging game. Quick to pick up but hard to put down. I started playing thinking I was just going to kill a few minutes and 99 minutes later i was still going. I strongly recomend this game.
Really fun game! Kudos to Ideas Per Second for adding a skill requirement to this budding "Balatro like" formula we're all addicted to.
If you want me to shortly describe this game - think Ballionaire but you play pool with marbles and there's enemies. This game is a nice modern turn-based roguelike, there's different difficulty levels and starter sets, the soft minimalistic graphics that are done well aesthetic-wise, having a good fitting to the vibe music, and you can even customize(place) how the visuals(stickers) of upgrade effects on the marbles look!(which is a cool little detail for me) as a QoL feature it would've been nice to be able to look at the current level map when in the round/shop Edit: They just added it! (Also, dev is very responsive in their discord, listen to community feedback and improving the game based on that, which is a great sign.)
Really nice idea of a game but just lacks content. Already in the second attempt I had seen almost all possible marbles and Items I couldve gotten and made the game feel repetitive way too soon.
Radiation
Structurally it follows Balatro closely, but you are rolling marbles. It doesn't offer the incredible variety of Balatro and the graphics are a bit lackluster, but there is still plenty and the graphics are perfectly functional, not interfering with game play. The dexterity elements here are actually pretty minor - which I was happy about - I couldn't plan second and third order effects with precision but I could put a marble where I wanted to pretty easily. The runs were refreshingly short - I find a lot of these games in this category run a bit long each time - Ringer is snappy and fast. Overall I very much enjoyed it, it was fresh and fun!
Really addictive and fun game, definitely worth the money. Once you start a run, it’s really hard to put it down. I do wish there were some meta-progression, but I guess the developer never intended the game to be played from that perspective. It’s a cute one-off. If you’ve got two hours to spare, this game will make it feel like only five minutes have passed.
I think this executes on the premise extremely well. I did find it a little bit easy, but aside from that I thought it was very enjoyable to play! FULL VIDEO - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTY-G8TZUXo
Fun marble rougelike game with unique modifiers.
Trying too hard to be the next Balatro, from the level selection, to the CRT filter, to the point and mult, everything about this game feels like it's just trying to be Balatro. it has no identity of its own
