Reviews
I got a copy of the game for steam and tried to play it to make a review, here's what I got from a 30 minutes of playing. * no fullscreen to window option * there are some parts of the maps usually the walls on where the character falls even if there's a wall or brick in it * the sync is bad that it actually puts your character and everything else in slow motion (usually happens when your on a waterfalls) * the controls are a bit confusing (Y to continue with the characters dialogue and A to confirm is confusing for me) What I liked about the game is the story is just light, I like the idea that you will need to defend your camp from hordes and to level it up. I'll wait for Devs update about this game
Totally addictive in the best possible way! Lovely art and animation. Great controls and mechanics. Got myself stuck exploring the world and talking to NPCs, also died many times? Perhaps... But just made me wanna play More! Have to stop for now, 'cause it's already too late and I should be sleeping... But tomorrow.... OH BOY! There's gonna be MORE Rift Adventure! Already in love with characters and their personalities, I feel there's some secrets I still need to unravel, and for sure I'm gonna take my time to find'em.
Interesting mechanics and challenging stages
This game seemed Interesting, but currently it holds too many flaws. It has unique ideas and gameplay that drew me in from what I glanced at, but playing lead me to discover every single one of those ideas is completely ruined by a staggering lack of polish. The game itself is fine, but there are too many design choices that feel inadequate. The hitboxes are overtly generous for the enemies compared to you, where you'll watch your attacks miss enemies at point blank or get hit with a gap between you. This problem becomes unbearable during boss fights, especially with the second one, with the amount of I-frames they seemingly are bestowed whilst you have none, which can end your fight within a few seconds. I won't go into detail for the far more petty complaints I have against the games UI design, unskippable dialogue options, or occasional bug with the siege mechanic, but I'm glad I purchased this on sale, otherwise, my buyers remorse might be much greater.
Absolutely love it! It's a fun and challenging game! The graphics are beautiful, the musics are so fricking cool and it has a nice atmosphere overall. Hope to see more from this company!
