Ride To Canada

[b] Ride to Canada [/b] was kind of boring for the first 90 minutes, but I think it can be very enjoyable if you have the patience to understand its appeal. The game has a long tutorial phase so it takes awhile for the challenge to start. I personally found it very fun to grind the leaderboard; finding the best route could take a lot of attempts and experimenting. There are 5 locations with multiple stages, each one has its own leaderboard. Unfortunately, the score potential is very limited, as there are only so many correct paths for each map (I expect to see some identical scores eventually). The game does a good job of mixing up mechanics, there are plenty of different tools that will completely change the gameplay. I don't know about that soundtrack though, sounds like some western rock. Not exactly something that I want to hear when playing a relaxing puzzle game. The soundtrack in the trailer was so good, what happened to that relaxing music? I would really like the ability to change the OST , otherwise I would have to mute it. It looks fine, I can't really complain at this price anyway. The UI is very simple but it does its job well. For the most part the puzzle design and difficulty progression was good. I have not had any technical problems so far. There's another top down train puzzle game that's 10 times better than this game for 5 times the price. It's called Mini Metro.

This game is interesting enough, (I have played Columbia and Venezuela so far). The puzzles are hard enough to make me think how to do them optimally, but not so hard that I fail and get annoyed. The game has a mix of puzzles, so you aren't doing the same thing over and over, at least not so far. The graphics are fine, the sound effects are appropriate. Overall so far I am enjoying the game, and for the price it is good value for the money. It probably suffers a little in my mind because of all the other Train puzzle games out there that I have played, but once you remember they are far more expensive, this game is actually better and more fun than you should expect for the price. Overall well worth the cost, and if you like train based games, or just decent puzzle games it is worth giving it a go. I thought it's some kind mini metro style game but no. It's mobile puzzle game. I don't want to spend my life to play mobile games on PC. Also, I personally don't like 3 star score system or something. And really? I cannot speed up?

it is a nice little casual game, there are different rules on different levels that force you to adapt to new circumstances, but at the same time somehow it is not much fun to play I love train-themed games, but this one is just too clinical and there is only one best solution to the level, so just not my cup of tea I guess

Nein, es ist kein Mini Metro, aber das will es auch gar nicht sein. Es ist eher mit Train Valley zu vergleichen. Die Levels sind jeweils kurz gehalten, dennoch muss man genau planen, um dieses erfolgreich im manchmal recht knappen Zeitlimit zu absolvieren. Dabei wird zunächst entweder die farbige Ladung gelöscht, wenn man den entsprechenden Bahnhof passiert oder der letzte Waggon abgekoppelt, wenn die Farbe übereinstimmt. Aber die Ideen gehen noch weiter. Ein interessantes Konzept mit vielen Leveln.
