Retro Rewind - Video Store Simulator

Хорошая игра, симулятор, жаль что быстро приедается однообразие, увы.

Very enjoyable game. Good progression of store expansion in conjunction with unlocking new movie genres and other sellables (snacks, drinks, discount movies, toys). Some fun events throughout the calendar to break up the day-to-day rhythm. Good customization of the store - the ceiling/walls/floors, decorative items (signs/lights, fans, rugs), shelves and movie standees... Plenty of options to run the store and make the layout how you want. I know video game rentals are coming in a future update, it would also be nice to see some more genres (maybe something like nature/documentary/educational, mystery/thriller, superhero/animated, foreign films, music/concerts), more variety of arcade machines, and maybe even another map with a different store layout. Not that these are needed, it's a fun full game, they would just expand it further.

It is a simple but slightly addictive game, worth the money.

Is it simple? Yes. Will it have you staying for far longer than you mean to because the tape dealer or a new movie release or something else is happening tomorrow? Yup. You need to get more movies. You need to get another shelf for those movies. You need to expand to get room for another shelf for those movies you need to get. But first you need to put away all the tapes you already bought so you can get more money for the......you see what I mean. I don't forsee a huge amount of replayability, but look I'm 13 hours in and feel nowhere near done. It feels very polished and strategic in it's limited scope. And yes everyone looks kinda goofy that's part of the fun.

The biggest hit against the game I can say is you really have to mod to get the most out of it. But even then it's a fun simulator.
