This game is pretty addicting and difficult. Just needs some fine tuning and achievements,. I give Retro Dungeons a solid 8/10
This game is so addicting i always am trying to get better items and abilities. The final boss is also so cool! super fun speed run game aswell
Don't sleep on this grinder from a first time developer. It's a bit rough around the edges but has some great game play ideas.
Awesome Sauce! :D
This is the best game I have ever played. Worth every penny!!!!!!

This game has some great ideas going, I would keep working on updates to improve the experience: 1. Make the HP potion in the shop free after each round 2. Lower the damage from the monsters 3. Make gold drops more frequent, maybe include a trophy to sell at the end of each round 4. Raise the room height several feet so it's not as claustrophobic. 5. Improve the wall textures, they're warping when you walk along them 6. Maybe let the player keep items from the previous run(s) like a Roguelike Thank you for having the courage to put a game out. I've tried many times to create a game and could never get everything together to put it out to the world.
This game is really fun, like the style and unique weapons/abilities!
Retro Dungeon absolutely lives up to its name. The throwback vibes hit pretty hard from the get go, while still keeping a solid pacing to maintain engagement. As others have noted, there's certainly some roughness around the edges, but that adds to the charm in most aspects, rather than taking away from it. I'd love to see a codex added for all the power-ups so you could see what you've collected previously and review them between runs and the like. Attacking also seems to have random power ups that I can't tell if they were added by my weapon, or by something else. I want to know how what I've collected is affecting me and the game so I can plan and hope for better runs in the future. There's nothing like chasing that one god run in a rogue-like. My only real complaint is the hallways. The texture effect is a bit too throw-backy for me. Everything else has a pretty solid feel to it.
Cool game! Finally got around to playing and omg got my butt kicked. Gonna keep trying. Keep it up and lets see some updates! It's unforgiving which is perfect.
