[ENG] ReStory has a super nice vibe of a totally chill game for relaxed folks. Sure, playing it kind of feels like going to my actual day job where I basically do the exact same thing, but I guess it’s a bit like truck drivers playing ETS, or delivery guys playing… I don’t know, Death Stranding. There’s a lot of gear to fix, and the items have cool details matching their real-life counterparts—it’s not exactly an "iFixit tutorial," but it definitely lets you feel like a DIY handyman fixing up various junk. A huge plus goes to the shop space itself: items like the radio, lamps, other decorations, and the stuff you're repairing can actually be placed down as physical objects in your environment. I’d treat the game more as a quick breather between bigger titles rather than something to sit down and grind out. On the downside, it’s worth noting that the game uses AI-generated assets, even though that’s nowhere to be seen in the store description. The gameplay is clearly tailored for a mouse, and while full controller support is there, the cursor speed—WHICH FOR NO LOGICAL REASON CANNOT BE CHANGED IN THE SETTINGS—is painfully slow, making the movement feel super restrictive. On top of that, you have tiny elements like screws that are a pain to target, and some devices easily have more than 10 of them. Finally, I have to mention that despite being marked as Deck Verified, the game runs around 40 FPS on the Steam Deck OLED, noticeably stressing the hardware and ramping up the fan speed—which is pretty wild for a static 3D space with 2D character cutouts. All in all, the game is definitely worth keeping an eye on, but you can feel that things haven't fully clicked into place just yet. The devs are likely running their own real-life ReStory right now, patching up its flaws. Unless it's at the very top of your wishlist, I’d hold off on buying it for a few weeks, especially since some players are reporting a game-breaking bug that stops story progression entirely.

The most relaxing game I've played. Good to pick apart old electronics, with lo-fi to boot. I especially enjoyed the ones I used to own. Somewhat of a memory-lane game for me. Thanks for making this game. 10/10
AMAZING!
