I guess I set myself up for disappointment. I played a couple other games by this dev (Paranormal Torment and Clink), and this one had the same outcome as the others. Complete sh*t. Full of cheap jumpscares and a lackluster environment, this dev can't seem to make a decent game. I should have been tipped off when I saw they release a new game every 2 months. This shows they don't give a sh*t about the games they put out, and only care about making a little bit of money. Please don't buy anything this dev puts out, it's all crap

Вроде и "-" ставить не за что, но и "+" игра не заслужила. Тут нет средней оценки, по этому ставим в пользу разработчика. Игра лишенная всего и смысла, и атмосферы. Из плюсов можно отметить озвучку и неплохой, хоть и предсказуемый сюжет. Загадки легкие, геймплей унылый. Walking sim w klimatach horroru z okazjonalnymi, prostymi łamigłówkami i pojawiającymi się co jakiś czas straszakami. Takich produkcji na Steam jest wiele, które oferują około godzinne doświadczenie. Albo takie gry się lubi, albo nie. Restorer nie wyróżnia się na tle tego typu gier niczym szczególnym. Aczkolwiek ma w miarę ciekawą historię, ale o której dowiadujemy się za pomocą odnajdywanych szpuli z filmami, które obejrzymy na projektorze w danym pokoju. Nie ma to za wiele sensu (kto to nagrywał?). Chyba już lepsze byłyby karteczki rozsiane po całym domu (tutaj też one występują, ale są to krótkie zdania antagonisty) albo inne dokumenty, na podstawie których gracz sam dopowiedziałby sobie historię. Kadry na filmach to rysunki zrobione przez AI i widać w nich niekonsekwencję. Grafika ujdzie, audio – standardowe. Tłumaczenie PL mechaniczne, o czym twórca informuje na karcie steam – jest trochę baboli (największy to save, gdzie zamiast „zapisywanie” pojawia się wyraz „oszczędzanie”), ale sens zdań jest w miarę zachowany. Są dwa zakończenia, ale aby ujrzeć kolejne konieczne jest przejście ponownie gry. Dla mnie gra na 4/10, czyli taka „ujdzie”, ale grałem w lepsze.

Das ist wirklich der Ernst, dass man den selben Jumpscare einfach das ganze Spiel über immer wieder verwendet oder?Das wurde schon echt albern das ganze. Ansonsten ist das Spiel technisch und grafisch schon recht gut. Die Beschreibung stimmt auch nicht. Ein klassischer walking Simulator im Horror Stil wäre etwas wie Layers of Fear. Das hier ist eher ein Escaperoom Game. Ein Rätsel jagt das nächste und das Klopf-Rätsel hat mich fast den letzten Nerv gekostet. Leute die für ihr Leben gerne Rätseln und ansonsten nur lahmen Horror wollen, ist das Spiel hier wohl noch was. Aber ich hatte da echt was anderes erwatet. Check out my full gameplay below. https://youtu.be/xeZJ79DeQ1A * I thought the puzzles were also great, makes you think but very intuitive * atmosphere in the mansion is spot on, * game runs very smooth * only small downside is some of the jumpscares would have been scarier if the monster jumped at you instead of being stationary most of the time. * Also no sprint button, would have been nice to be able to walk a little fast at times. Looking forward for the next game.

Cool Story and Jumpscares 9,5/10

Restorer is the epitome of meh. The mansion looked creepy, the atmosphere was fine, and the scares… well, they politely knocked instead of barging in. I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t love it either, it’s like horror game comfort food: fills the time, but you forget it the moment you’re done. 6/10, would casually restore again (with zero emotional investment)

For the price and time to complete it was decent. Graphics were well done. Controls were good. Puzzles range from simple to I need to think but not that hard. This game is perfect for streamers and players who- want to enjoy the horror aspect but without the insanity. It's a pretty safe game. There's no camera shaking or head-bob. Nice set of graphic options. Works with DualSense even though it's not listed. I don't know. For me it fell short. 7/10
