Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Aug 14 → 3.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

🤝 Rest Area Simulator can be enjoyed solo or with up to 4 friends. Share tasks, manage different businesses, and tackle crises together. Good coordination will take your operations to the next level!

🌤 Operate your facility in various weather conditions such as clear skies, fog, and storms.
🕰️ Your facility opens in the morning, visitors arrive throughout the day, shop, and interact with the environment. At the end of the day, businesses close, and you prepare for the next.
🚶♂️🚶♀️ Visitors arrive by car or metro, walk around the rest area, sit on benches, chat, or shop. Each visitor follows their own unique routine.

🌟 Clean the floors and walls, collect trash, fix breakdowns, don’t keep customers waiting too long, and keep each business's reputation score high. High-reputation businesses attract more customers.

⚖️ Product purchase prices change depending on the buying and selling activity at your facility. A product bought in bulk may become more expensive or yield less profit. You must strategically manage both your business and the economy.

🛠️ Gain experience through tasks like customer service, cleaning, and product management to level up. Leveling up allows you to acquire sales licenses for new products and purchase new businesses like supermarkets and car washes.
👷♂️ If the workload is too much, hire staff and take it easy.
⚙️Each business has its own unique upgrades: Buy new pumps, order security cameras, invest in a generator to stay open even during bad weather.

💸 Not every profit has to be honest. With the Illicit Profit System, you can take risks to earn more money.
💧 Watering down fuel
💰 Charging customers unfairly
⛽ Give more fuel than requested
But beware: random inspections and customer reactions may turn those extra profits into big fines or reputation loss. Will you play it safe, or gamble for quick cash?

Every day brings a different story at the rest area:
⚡ Heavy rains can cause power outages — no problem if you have a generator.
📉 Economic fluctuations can reverse product prices.
🔧 Unexpected malfunctions will test your resource management.
No day is the same at Oriseus Rest Area.

very funny and chill
As a big fan of simulator games I was surprisingly disappointed by this game. There's no real feel of starting small and working your way up with how polished your shops and businesses already look (besides a handful of dirty floors, walls and some garbage on the floor). The customisation is another thing I usually love, putting shelves down, decorating, organising my storage. These are all things they take out of your hand. In the name of 'it'll be easier at higher levels'. You don't get to decide where to place objects, you don't get to decide and move your shelves. And I question some of their choices in where you're forced to place your object, as at low level it looks strange and leads to lots of half filled shelves (especially in the gas station market fridges). Disallowing you to throw away empty boxes ('You might need them to move things') feels like a strange way to limit your ability to do things. The tutorial is also a lot of screens thrown at you while the game is paused rather than explaining as you're doing, or a short list of things to do and explore, which adds or changes as you finish tasks and find new things. It feels like a simulator game made by people who don't quite understand what makes simulator games so fun, I can't even change the name of my gas station or market! It's sad because it plays really well and looks amazing, but it takes so many of the fun parts of simulator games out of the hands of the players which makes it feel soulless, like I'm a simple hired minimum wage employee rather than someone running my own business.

Macht echt Spaß. Und ist super selbsterklärend.
So when I go and open the tools menu, I couldn't find the mop or trash bags. Am i suppose to go find it in the rest area or is it a glitch? Because in my tools menu, I have, "Dance, Waving, Burping, Hiccup, and Whistle." What the hell?
Le cobré 50 dólares a una doña por unos cereales integrales mientras le cargaba 40 litros de diesel con agua a un tipo que me pidio 35 litros de gasolina regular. Maravilloso.
loving the game, really hoping to see more to come in future updates!
