One of the best survival horror games ever, easily as good as RE2, RE4 & RE7 The perfect mix of RE7 & RE2's survival horror with Grace's sections and RE4's action with Leon. Just when you have had enough of the game putting you in the most nightmarish situations imaginable, you get some brevity by playing as Leon and get to feel powerful and in control. The game does a great job at introducing some new ideas, polishing what worked from Village and the RE2,3 & 4 remakes and keeping the funny dialogue and horrific atmosphere that RE is known for.
一个被炸后隔了28年还能接着用的起重器,它肯定是Made in China。
A great addition to the resident Evil Franchise. It combines tense horror elements with great action sequences spaced between Grace and Leon sections respectively. After game rewards feel meaningful and are something worth grinding for. A overall good experience for horror/action.
Easily one of the Top 5 Resident Evil games ever made. Capcom has just been cooking with these games ever since RE7. They just keep getting better. The contrast between Grace and Leon's gameplay is what does it for me. Grace's gameplay is more reminiscent of RE7 or RE2 Remake, but noticeably more easier and forgiving, keeping it fun, and focuses more on survival horror (Hiding and using ammo wisely), whereas Leon's gameplay is more like RE4 Remake and just allows you to absolutely maul through everything. It keeps you on the edge of your seat, and as a result, made me complete the game in one sitting upon release cause of how intense and thrilling the story is from start to end, and it only gets better. If you already know at least some of the Resident Evil lore, this story just makes you wanna go deeper into the lore, otherwise it's just a really fun game, even for the new fans. The graphics are incredible. The RE engine is truly a beast with these more linear games from Capcom. I use an RTX 3060 12GB (Watched BenchmarKING's optimization video) and I was easily getting over 80 fps with Ray Tracing Max. If you lock your FPS at 60 and enable Frame Generation, you get around 120 FPS and the input lag is barely noticeable and isn't a disaster like most games nowadays. Definitely a Game Of The Year contender and is a really good 30th Year Anniversary Gift to the RE fans.
This is my favorite Resident Evil game after the RE 4 Remake. The blend between survival and action is well done but it definitely leaves you wanting more of both sides of the split. The first half of the game really stands out for its atmosphere and gameplay puzzles. Controlling Leon is extremely fun throughout. The voice acting in particular is fantastic for all the characters. The sound, level, and art design are both excellent for many of the game sections. This game has what are probably the best minor enemy zombies in a RE game. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of Resident Evil. The game is fairly replayable but the "Insanity" difficulty is pretty poorly balanced and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone that isn't an enjoyer of hardcore modes. The game is bit too reliant on the tomahawk parry mechanic despite it being a fun melee weapon overall.
It's a fine game but too many cutscenes
