Resident Evil Requiem

Ну, что ж.... Многое ожидалось от этой части, но мои ожидания к сожалению игра не переплюнула. Есть в ней что-то, но думала, что сюжетно она будет покруче 8 резика) Я могу похвалить ее, сказать что фанатам Леончика скорее всего закатит, саунд, графика и хоррор составляющая на высшем уровне, сюжет в принципе для резика нормальный, но эмоций она столько не дала, как resident evil village, как-то совсем ожидаемо было, что же будет в конце. Так-то в целом неплохо, но сказать, что мне хотелось бы в данный момент перепройти ее еще раз-нет. В принципе рекомендовать я ее могу фанатам, но если вы такой же любитель именно 8 резика возможно эта часть не совсем оправдает ваши ожидания.

So, Resident evil Requiem, what did I think? RE9 feels like a perfect blend of the original horror aspects the series was founded on, and then the action filled gunfights the later games would become known for. They do a really good job of managing the gameplay and atmospheric aspects of Grace and Leon's sections incredibly well. As Grace, you are rewarded for sneaking around, ammo conservation and good critical thinking skills, while as Leon you are rewarded for killing enemies, doing special executions and kicking straight ass. I really enjoyed both aspects of this game, with only a few nitpicks that don't retain to the main game, such as LMDF and Insanity mode. But other than that? 100% get this game if you like Resident evil.

Resident Evil Requiem was a pretty solid game, and probably one of it not the best games that came out this year of 2026. The game is split into two parts RE7/8 style sections with grace which I believe is a step backwards in every single way, and RE4 style Leon sections which I think was a step forwards in every single way. This clash leaves a weird split for the game. The Grace parts are by no means bad, but it really feels like RE7 or 8 but worse, and I did not care for a lot of the "hide from enemy or die" sections or the annoying slowness of it. So really Graces sections I feel were the weakest parts of the game and a certain parts slightly annoying. Still good though, just a step backwards for sure from 7 and 8. Luckily, Leon still makes up I think a majority of the gameplay for the game. At least like 65% or soemthing. This is RE4 style combat at its absolute peak, and it feels so good and amazing, It has a very John Wick feel as well, very wick inspired I feel. Leon is really the John Wick of Resident Evil now. Combat is very dynamic, and it has a really nice melee system. Seeing gameplay of it will give you enough of an idea how good it gets and parts of this game are so cinematic and fun its genuinely incredible. So incredible that if I ever replay this game I wish I could just 100% skip graces parts and just play Leons. MAKE RESIDENT EVIL 10 JUST LEON or LEON AND CHRIS WHATEVER YOUR PLANS ARE CAPCOM! I also liked how the EVIL RESIDENTS in this game kept a lot of their humanity, it was a really cool thing to see that characterized a lot of the enemies, a ghost of who they once were, their job, etc. 8.9/10 - Solid, solid game. That wants to be a 9 so badly, but ultimately I think Graces parts of the game in many places could have been much much better at least in the level design department. They are definitely without a doubt poor mans RE7/8. Arguably what keeps it from being a 9+ for me. If CAPCOM goes all in with that for RE10, REX or whatever.... It'll definitely possibly be the best Resident Evil games ever if not one of the best. This game is one of the best, but only partially.

Very good, a mix of the action games with Leon's segments and 7's horror with Grace's. One of the best RE games. A decent amount of replayability (for an RE game) and a free rogue-lite mode is a fun addition after beating the game, as bare-bones as it is. A great addition to Capcom's golden age lineup. 9.5/10

This game's plot is written by Gideon, and even a pile of rotten limbs would smell better than what came out of his mouth.

A great addition to the resident Evil Franchise. It combines tense horror elements with great action sequences spaced between Grace and Leon sections respectively. After game rewards feel meaningful and are something worth grinding for. A overall good experience for horror/action.
