Rescue the Hostages: Cryptic Countdown

This is exactly the game you get from watching the trailer. It's essentially hangman / scrabble but with a bomb and hostages. After level one....oh boy, you will need a friend or two! I did this with two other people and it was damn near impossible. If you want a crazy challenge, then this is for the word scramble master only! Enjoyed it for what it was, a fun quick game that you can pull up when you want to tease the brain.

High-pressure world scramble game. The FMV part is more like a creative choice than a gameplay element. I love trying to unscramble words and was excited to play this game. I found it to be fun yet stressful lol. I played repeatedly and enjoyed trying to figure out all of the words, but struggled and definitely needed help. If you like a challenging word scramble game, check it out :).

《Rescue the Hostages: Cryptic Countdown》是一款非常特别的游戏，玩过之后只能说有点没搞清楚这款游戏的定位，本以为是一种互动类影游的全新玩法和创新形式，不过玩过之后只能说是新瓶装旧酒，没什么新意。 一开始看这款游戏还比较上头，不管是超长的名字《Rescue the Hostages: Cryptic Countdown》，还是游戏复古的画面设计，都让人感觉作者在游戏上是下足了功夫的，虽然玩法上在steam商店页暂时看不出个大概，但是已经能判断出这是一款时限内救人的玩法，玩家需要在游戏NPC的宣战之下，救出人质，而NPC将人质困在了一个绑有炸弹的椅子上，限时10分钟，玩家需要拼出对应的单词，一步一步拆除炸弹，解救人质。本以为这游戏会在剧情上多下功夫，我甚至都把剧情想好了，什么特工组织深入敌方、被敌方围困，最后可以选择救或不救，和敌方首领斗智斗勇，最后正义战胜邪恶的戏码，还以为这是互动影游的新巅峰。 后来确实没想到，剧情方面真就是基本没有，甚至这游戏都算不上是影游，只能说真人影像只是背景板，核心玩法就只是拼单词。 所以说，在知道了这款游戏的核心玩法是拼单词之后，那本作没有中文也就不难理解了。毕竟拼单词也没法汉化，玩法也就简化成了要在10分钟内根据给出的乱序字母拼出对应单词，就算过关，游戏一共三个大关卡，每关难度也不同，从一开始的5个字母的单词到最后的15个字母的单词，难度逐级递增，虽然说本人英语水平也算过得去，至少大学六级水平是有的，面对前两关最多8个字母的单词也算是手拿把掐，没什么难度，但是到了第三关9个单词开始的关卡，我的脸上逐渐没了笑容，只能辅助AI帮我拼单词，这时候就能看出国产AI的弊端了，国产AI在一些长字母拼成的单词面前，是不会给出正确答案的，要么拼不出，要么给的是错误的单词，走投无路的我最后用了一下国外的AI模型，最终惊险过关。 最后结算动画也就是敌方NPC说有机会再见然后就结束了，整体玩起来确实没什么意思，毕竟那么长的单词即便是英语好的人也不一定能拼出来，这游戏的受众更多应该还是英语母语群体，让非英语母语的人玩，就很有难度了，何况游戏还有5分钟内过关的成就，对于国内玩家来说，更是天方夜谭了。 [code] No Responsibility Review，只根据个人喜好进行评测：[url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/36266776-NRR233] 无责任评测[/url][/code]
