Rescue Team: Lights. Camera. Outer Space
Casual game from 2025. What began as the ultimate sci-fi blockbuster has escalated into an uncontrollable crisis – and now it's up to you to save the film production, protect the crew and residents, and prevent this cinematic dream from becoming an absolute disaster. [Editor] It's all about collecting and building, as well as repairing and clearing paths and, of course, searching for the best route. The main factor, however, is the production of the materials you need, which includes demolition, even multiple times if necessary. All of this isn't so easy in this series, especially if you want to achieve 3 stars. However, the gameplay is designed so that it never becomes too difficult and the fun factor is maintained. The story you play through is, of course, constructed to fit the game, but this story is truly the low point. So silly. But it's all about the game itself, and this has once again been done really well. Since there are many predecessors in this series, the gameplay is mature and practically perfect. It should be noted that the resource management is really well-developed. This is especially noticeable in the pathfinding. And here in this installment, it's occasionally tricky and well-executed. 16 hours of entertaining gameplay with a lot of familiar elements, unfortunately, this also applies to the maps. But that's by no means a distraction. A clear recommendation for anyone who likes these kinds of games.
Rescue Team: Lights. Camera. Outer Space
Note: A wonderful friend gifted me a copy of this game. ^^
Sabotage on set... :o

Introduction
Rescue Team: Lights. Camera. Outer Space is a time management game developed by Game Mixer and published by Alawar Casual. It is the 19th game in the Rescue Team series. The rescue team has gone on many missions and embarked on numerous adventures, but its latest adventure involves them investigating sabotage on the set of a sci-fi movie. Now, you may ask, "What does movie sabotage have to do with stopping earthly disasters?" Apparently, the saboteur is causing such chaos on the set that involves filming in various locations that unnatural disasters are occurring, endangering innocent people's lives. Of course, it's up to the rescue team to help. XD As for the gameplay, there are the usual three difficulty levels: relaxed, easy, and hard. (For review purposes, I chose to play on easy/normal mode.) A total of 50 levels are presented, along with an additional 15 levels in the bonus game. You use your mouse to click on items and direct rescue team members on what to do. Each level has the usual tasks, ranging from rescuing people to repairing buildings. Depending on how quickly you complete all of the tasks, you can earn up to 3 stars/coins per level. Coins are used to purchase upgrades in the shop, and these upgrades can include making your workers run faster to having doctors heal patients more quickly. The usual Steam achievements/in-game trophies are present, and they count towards a user's global total.
Review
By now, it's probably not a surprise that I really enjoy these TMs by Alawar Casual. Even though there have been a lot of games in the Rescue Team series, I never get tired of them and I always look forward to seeing what the rescue team's latest adventure entails. This latest installment is no exception. ^^ Compared to previous games, the story is definitely on the wackier side. I never imagined that the rescue team would be involved in movie production, but yup, there's a villain trying to sabotage things. When it involves endangering people and causing disasters, that's going too far, so the rescue team has to put a stop to things. As with the previous stories, this one is fun and light-hearted. Whether it's believable is another story, but I find it to be passable. As for the gameplay, it's as fun as always. Most of the levels are pretty doable to earn 3 stars. I only found one level (I'm looking at you, level 41 lol) to be a bit challenging. Since this is a collector's edition, there is an in-game guide, so if you get stuck on completing levels, it can help. I had no issues earning all of the Steam achievements/in-game trophies. As for any technical bugs, I found only one in the bonus levels. It involves completing the film pieces for the cutting room. Although you have to find 5 pieces and the game indicates when you find a piece, there's a bug in which one of the pieces doesn't show up in the cutting room. Thankfully, it doesn't affect Steam achievements, but it would be nice for this bug to be patched at some point. With the art, it retains that colorful, cartoony style. It can feel samey and perhaps a bit boring since a lot of the backgrounds and character sprites have appeared in previous games. Still, this doesn't personally bother me since I focus mostly on the gameplay. Also, there are a few new character sprites and even a new playable character, so there's a bit of variety. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3560658889 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3560658694 In regards to the music, the tracks are the same as in the previous games. I didn't detect any new tracks, which is a bit unfortunate since I like a little variety. Still, the tracks that are present fit well with the game's levels and give off that feeling of impending danger and the rescue team having to stop it.
Conclusion
Would I recommend Rescue Team: Lights. Camera. Outer Space? If you're a time management fan, you like the ones published by Alawar Casual (especially the Rescue Team series), and/or you like getting pretty obtainable Steam achievements, then it's worth checking out. The game follows a pretty familiar pattern by now, but I don't find it boring. As long as new stories continue to be developed and the gameplay is fun and such, then I'll look forward to future installments. For the asking price, I think it's worth getting, as it took me around 14.5 hours to 100% complete the game. (To obtain all of the achievements, it may take slightly less time.) ^^
For more detailed, fully complete, high quality reviews like this, please follow The Introverted Gamer, prioritizing heart and soul always. ^^
Fürs Augenrollen lassen ist also vorgesorgt.
Another grea game in the series
super Serie wie immer macht viel Fun
stundenlanger spielspass garantiert
A big NO for this game. If you're playing on relaxed like I was, there are supposed to be no time limits yet I didn't find an explosive. Stop the time limits on relaxed mode.
