In a world where technological progress coexists with primitive manual labor, society has been stripped of its freedom of movement. Avatar robots, controlled via certified VR devices, are the only chance to ever leave the house. Work, leisure, meeting up with friends - everything is out of reach unless you have a stable connection and a paid subscription.
A strange incident brings the protagonist - a representative of a VR headset software developer - to the city of Kutarsk. During the investigation he is to dive deep into the world around and meet its rather special inhabitants.
