《Relaxing Simulator》
Maybe you're like me. Sometimes depressed, sometimes stressed and sometimes you're not in the mood to really play a game or take a walk outside.... And then you start this title, enjoy beautiful places and the time in it. I already got my 5 hours in and I love to come back to some places and explore it again. Thanks Witte for this cool project. Honestly, I didn't expect I would enjoy it this much, but I do.... and for this price, I am absolutely fine with it.
It's beautiful. Amazing graphics and relaxing music. Would like to see more nature themed maps with beautiful landscapes, something similar to "Camping area" map.
It's alright, there's something about it for relaxing, exploring and enjoying. It's not going to be for the masses, but if you like this sort of thing, it's something unusual that doesn't exist yet. Great graphics and weather effects are really good.
I absolutely love this simulator game. It delivers exactly what the name promises: pure relaxation! Love the variety of maps, and each one feels completely different. The graphics are great! I also like that you can interact with objects. I personally switch off the music and keep the ambience and effects on, because in my opinion nothing beats the sounds of nature. I really appreciate the added feature of toggling the Aurora Borealis and changing the weather to whatever matches your mood. Another big bonus: the developer is active in the community, quick to answer questions, open to suggestions, and fixes issues immediately. It really feels like he truly cares about the product he created instead of just releasing a game and abandoning it, like so many do nowadays. This seems to be an ongoing project, with plans for even more features, which I am looking forward to. If you want to escape the daily madness and find relaxation in a casual game where you can explore, enjoy your surroundings, and take beautiful screenshots along the way, then this is the right game for you.
Relaxing Simulator is less concerned with traditional gameplay and more focused on creating a quiet digital space where players can slow down and disengage from the usual expectations of interactive entertainment. Developed and published by Witte Studio, it presents itself as a meditative experience rather than a goal-driven one, offering environments designed to be observed and inhabited rather than conquered. It deliberately avoids the structures that define most games, choosing instead to emphasize atmosphere, freedom, and the absence of pressure. The experience is built around simple exploration. Players can move through a variety of serene environments, ranging from natural landscapes like forests and coastlines to more abstract or architectural spaces. There are no objectives to complete, no timers to beat, and no consequences for inaction. The player is free to wander, pause, or simply remain still, taking in the surroundings at their own pace. This design creates a very different relationship between player and game, where engagement is optional rather than required, and the value comes from presence rather than progression. Interaction is intentionally minimal, but not entirely absent. Players can adjust perspectives, shift between viewpoints, and occasionally engage with small elements within the environment, though these interactions are subtle and secondary to the overall experience. The game also includes light achievement systems and tracking elements, but these feel more like optional curiosities than central mechanics. In many cases, players may find themselves treating the game more like a digital backdrop—something to have running while relaxing, thinking, or even stepping away from the screen. The presentation is where Relaxing Simulator makes its strongest impression. The environments are crafted to evoke calm through soft lighting, open spaces, and gentle visual transitions. Time-of-day shifts and environmental effects help create a sense of variety, even within the game’s limited scope. Sound design plays an equally important role, with ambient audio and subtle music reinforcing the tranquil atmosphere. These elements work together to create a cohesive experience that feels intentionally subdued, allowing players to settle into a relaxed state without distraction. However, the same qualities that define the game’s identity also limit its appeal. The absence of structure means that there is little to sustain engagement for players who expect goals, challenges, or evolving systems. Once the novelty of the environments wears off, there are few reasons to continue exploring beyond personal preference. The lack of interaction and progression can make the experience feel static, particularly during longer sessions. For some, this simplicity is exactly the point; for others, it may feel like a lack of content rather than a deliberate design choice. What makes Relaxing Simulator interesting is how it challenges conventional expectations of what a game should provide. It removes competition, difficulty, and even purpose, leaving behind only the act of being present within a virtual space. This approach places it closer to a digital relaxation tool than a traditional simulation, appealing primarily to players who value calm, low-effort experiences over active engagement. In the end, Relaxing Simulator succeeds in delivering a consistent and focused experience that aligns with its concept. It offers a quiet escape from more demanding games, providing a space where players can unwind without distraction. While it lacks depth and long-term variety, it achieves its goal of creating a peaceful, low-pressure environment. Rating: 7/10
