Reflect Horizons is a VR immersive art installation that explores the idea of reality within a virtual world. It borrows from familiar real-world installations, that abstract and manipulate reality, to see what happens when what's being abstracted is not actually real.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. Copies below reflect the player base, not paid sales.

Reflect Horizons is not a game, although it has been mistakenly launched on Steam as one. There's no game loops, in the developers own words, this is an "art installation" masquerading as a game. It's a VR exclusive experience funded by the industry and consumer hostile Epic Games group and their Chinese owners, Tencent. Since this is not a game, I won't refer to it as "gameplay" when describing this, I guess "activity" is as close as you can get for this art exhibition software. "Activity" consists of looking around a VR environment and seeing colours and patterns and things. Like going to an art gallery, except the art on exhibition in art galleries is genuine art and didn't need to be self-published in the "Games" section on Steam for the rich entry fee of $100. It's unclear why this has been listed as a game on Steam instead of more appropriately the Software section, where non-game software is more correctly placed. Posting things which aren't games into the Game section pollutes the Steam store and takes away visibility and market share from genuine indie game developers who do the right thing and try to make games for gamers. While this is free, it's not a game, and thus is valueless for the purpose of gamers looking to experience gameplay loops or any kind of actual gaming experience, so I cannot recommend it.

Komentarz + translator. Comment + translator. What is this virtual three-dimensional presentation. Whether it's pretty, it's but not very pretty. Interaction, you can lean over the edge. But most of all it is boring, very boring. I give 5 / 10 because it's free, and I add 1 for the fact that it worked, that is 6 / 10. Czy polecam, zdecyduj sam. Do I recommend it, decide for yourself.
Short, sweet, meditative/contemplative experience. Recommended.
There is supposedly audio here, but for me the experience was completely silent for some reason. Just laid on my bed through it. Would give mixed if i could, but i'm leaning towards a negative here.
如果艺术有一种终极的表现形式,那一定是VR!
YO
I sat on a square, staring at a sphere, wondering where the sudden leak was coming from.
I wasn't so keen on this experience when I started it up. Just a concrete, spherical room with some calming music and changes to the lighting colour. Seemed like nothing special. The ending bit, however, is what broke through for me. Their sky rendering was breathtaking as were the water effects. I honestly wish I could have just stayed in the expanse of water and sky just to keep taking in the view. I appreciate the concepts they were trying to illustrate as well, blending the lines between reality and virtual reality. If this group makes future projects, I hope to see a little more going on visually; they most definitely have the talent to do so.
Kurzweilige Erfahrung, wäre schön wenn es so schnell abliefe wie im Video. So zieht sich das ganze ewig, bis man aus der Kuppel heraus kommt.
