Reflect Horizons is a VR immersive art installation that explores the idea of reality within a virtual world. It borrows from familiar real-world installations, that abstract and manipulate reality, to see what happens when what's being abstracted is not actually real.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. Copies below reflect the player base, not paid sales.
Experienced on Windows Mixed Reality
This is a 10 minute cinematic experience running on the Unreal Engine. I think the store page description tell you exactly what to expect and boy does it deliver. This is a really good art experience. It's a must download if you enjoy immersive art. Ran perfectly fine on my 1060 GTX. I don't want to say too much, but it was very cool seeing all the shapes and colors and the lights and shadows interplay with each other. Makes you feel awestruck looking up and around and how the different celestial object movements effected you down below on the platform as you rose to the top in a crescendo of pure artistic delight. Gravity, light, shadow, color, water all becoming part of your abstract reality. Lastly, don't watch any videos of this. Just play it for yourself when you have some alone, quiet time. Rate 8.5/10. Thank you devs for making this free for us in VR.
If you enjoyed my review, consider joining my Steam Curator Group; HTC Vive and Valve Index are welcome as well. Eh...this one was a hard one to rate. There isn't anything WRONG with it, per say. The music and visuals are good looking. Nice lighting/water effects. But...it's kind of bland at the same time. The "elevator" you are on sort of just sloooowly raises through a hole in the roof of your little underground bunker/silo.The first thing I noticed was a hallway and stairs down...but the game immediately warned me I had no controller bindings. So I spent the first three/four minutes trying to get that system to work...only to realize the hallway was way below me now and I was rising. Did I miss my chance? Do I need to restart? Is this a glitch? Once I realized everything was according to plan, I sat back and enjoyed the ride. But my initial confusion kinda threw me off. It if were possible, I'd say remove that initial hallway. We don't really need it there... there isn't really a need to explain how we got to where we are. That way idiots like me who are going in blind won't get confused. :-P That being said, if you are reading this and haven't played it yet, and you don't mind a 10-minute "chill" period where you don't do anything, then sit back and enjoy the ride. It isn't bad...I just wouldn't recommend it.

I'm a big fan of the Blade Runner franchise and Reflect Horizons has managed to capture the same sense of wonder, awe, and atmosphere that those films did. This 10-minute experience requires no controllers and can be experienced sitting or standing. You remain stationary throughout as it visually and aurally wraps you in a cocoon of immersion. This is my second play-through; I discovered Reflect Horizons on Viveport a few months ago, and much like the first time, this was a wonderful experience. In the era of COVID-19, immersive artworks and experiences such as Reflect Horizons are an excellent way for us to escape the four walls of our house and step into a world where things are simpler, evoking the child-like wonder many of us are nostalgic for. If you're the kind of person that requires visual or aural stimuli to induce a state of mindfulness (as I am) this is for you. I can see myself returning to this periodically to relax and reset. As one of the other reviewer's said, it's best to go into this experience without watching the video (if you haven't already) so that you're don't know what to expect. I assure you you will be pleasantly surprised. 10/10.
Reflect Horizons is a free VR experience. It worked on my HTC Vive, Quest 3 via Steam Link, and Index system, looked ok, played none, sounded ok. Was a 10 minute experience. There is no need for controllers. Just music and animated trip that you can watch standing or seated in place, but better to be seated. Gaze controlled. Try it, if you like Art.
Loved this! Reflect Horizons is a 10 minute experience but it actually feels much shorter. It's a relaxing experience. The visuals were fantastic and captivating. I really loved the audio in this, so make sure your audio is working and turn the volume up as it really immerses you into the virtual world. From the description I was sceptical as to whether or not I would feel sick as I move through the dome, but I didn't at all. If you go through Reflect Horizons seated, it's best to be on a swivel chair so you can easily spin around and look around you. For a free experience, it exceeded my expectations. Definitely worth the download and I highly recommend you try it for yourself.

I mean... Its 10 minutes of neat visuals and nice sound... other than that I think the only thing its got for it is that it's free.
