Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 28 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

ReEarth combines real-time strategy, base building, tower defense, and survival combat into a focused science-fiction experience centered on humanity's attempt to reclaim a devastated planet. Developed and published by Jiangzuogongfang Shanghai Game Co.,Ltd, it puts the player in command of a growing military foothold that must survive increasingly dangerous hostile forces. Its premise is straightforward, but the combination of economic management, defensive preparation, technology development, and mobile combat gives the game more strategic depth than a conventional wave-defense title. Much of the experience revolves around turning a vulnerable starting position into a functioning fortified base. Resources must be collected and invested carefully because construction decisions directly influence survival. Production facilities support expansion, research opens new possibilities, barracks and related structures contribute to military growth, and defensive installations provide the protection needed when enemy waves arrive. There is a constant tension between spending resources on immediate security and investing in improvements that will become more valuable later. Building too aggressively without adequate defenses can leave important facilities exposed, while excessive fortification can slow technological and economic progress. The mobile military units are an important part of what separates ReEarth from a traditional tower-defense game. Tanks and support vehicles allow the player to actively respond to threats instead of simply watching automated defenses handle everything. Faster units can move toward vulnerable areas or intercept approaching enemies, while heavier vehicles provide greater offensive power when confronting dense groups. Gauss tanks represent some of the stronger battlefield options, while support-oriented units can help keep the fighting force operational. Combining these units effectively makes army composition and positioning meaningful considerations. Enemy swarms provide the main source of pressure. The battlefield can become increasingly crowded as hostile creatures approach defensive positions from different directions, turning what initially appears to be a manageable situation into a demanding fight for survival. This escalation is where the game's systems work best together. Players may need to reinforce damaged defenses, redirect vehicles, replace losses, continue production, and make economic decisions while combat is already underway. A well-designed base can reduce the amount of emergency micromanagement required, rewarding preparation rather than relying exclusively on quick reactions. Progression adds another layer to the strategic loop. Completing objectives provides access to additional technologies and stronger military capabilities, gradually increasing the range of solutions available to the player. New units and upgrades are meaningful because they can influence how future encounters are approached. Instead of merely increasing numerical strength, progression encourages players to reconsider army composition, defensive layouts, and spending priorities. Protecting important facilities and destroying designated objectives also introduces enough mission variation to keep the experience from becoming nothing more than an uninterrupted sequence of identical defensive waves. ReEarth is particularly satisfying when its economic and military systems begin interacting under heavy pressure. Every resource committed to research is a resource temporarily unavailable for another defensive structure or replacement unit. Likewise, investing heavily in immediate military power can leave long-term development behind. These competing priorities create the strategic decisions that give the game its character. Players who enjoy optimizing production chains, improving defensive positions, and gradually transforming a fragile settlement into a powerful fortress should find plenty to appreciate. Visually, the game adopts an appropriately bleak futuristic atmosphere. Ruined environments reinforce the idea of returning to a world that has already suffered catastrophic destruction, while mechanized units and advanced weapons establish the technological side of humanity's counterattack. Large enemy concentrations create considerable battlefield activity, especially once multiple defensive structures and vehicles are firing simultaneously. The presentation is functional rather than extravagant, but it serves the strategy clearly and helps communicate the increasing scale of each confrontation. The relatively focused scope is also something prospective players should understand. This is not intended to provide the enormous diplomatic systems, faction complexity, or lengthy economic simulations associated with much larger strategy games. Its strengths instead come from bringing several familiar mechanics together in an accessible package. Players primarily interested in competitive multiplayer or deeply narrative-driven strategy may find the experience narrower than expected. Those who enjoy single-player base defense, technological advancement, vehicle management, and increasingly overwhelming waves are considerably closer to its intended audience. The game also includes achievement support and Steam Cloud functionality, giving completion-focused players additional goals while making progress easier to maintain between compatible computers. Its single-player structure suits the design because progression remains centered on improving the player's own approach to each challenge rather than balancing mechanics around competitive encounters. The developer also states that AI-generated material has been used for translation and promotional imagery, which is worth knowing for players who consider such production practices when choosing games. Steam Deck compatibility is officially categorized as Playable rather than fully Verified. Performance with the default graphics configuration is considered suitable, and the game can run successfully on SteamOS. However, handheld players should expect compromises. Some functionality is not fully accessible through the default controller configuration, touchscreen interaction or a community controller layout may occasionally be useful, and text entry can require manually opening the virtual keyboard. Some interface text may also appear small, while certain prompts can display keyboard, mouse, or non-Steam Deck controller icons. It is therefore functional on the Deck, but the experience is less seamless than a fully optimized handheld release. Taken as a whole, ReEarth offers an appealing hybrid for players who like watching careful preparation pay off against enormous enemy attacks. Its progression from a vulnerable position to a technologically advanced fortified base creates a satisfying sense of growth, while mobile units ensure that battles require more participation than simply constructing towers and waiting. Although its modest scope and relatively familiar ingredients prevent it from feeling revolutionary, the combination is cohesive enough to establish its own identity. It is a worthwhile choice for fans of RTS base management and survival-oriented tower defense who prefer concentrated strategic action over sprawling complexity. Rating: 7/10
