REDEMPTION

Usually i don't review games but since finding this after work in the newly released section for super cheap decided to buy since i was bored. After finishing and looking at the developers website for a college project it was really fun playing this little game prototype. I am gonna look forward for the next project or if this gets turned to a full game later down the line you definitely have a customer. side note speedran the last level in under a minute which i never intended to do after i finished the game but was cool trying to see how it would be done.

For a Senior Project which is made for Graduation, It is well-made Game. The ambience is misty and the sound was getting creepier going through. As I encounter the zombie thing from back without noticing them I was astonished as hell lol Anyway you'll have to restart the game if you get 2 hits from them (regardless of rats or zombies) One moment I disliked is stucking at the corner and zombie was body-blocking me from evading their attack. I had no parring and double-jumping in order to jump out the iron fence :(( but this situation is not that frequent. I had just once out of 1.2 hours. I had to die to restart the level. Pros : 1. As i said, ambience is creepy. you have limited sight of view due to mist and this gives you fearful feelings. 2. There's No bug. I think Code was solid-made. 3. If you get hit you have bloody screen, which shows you have low health. this screen also helps me to immerse more to game :) Cons : 1. There's no setting menu if you once entered the level. you have to leave to main in order to change.(Actually this is visibility option, not a problem) 2. And.. There's no restart button. you have to give them two bites of my flesh to restart I hope these things would be added >:D Conclusion : If you find this game by chance you'd better try. It is solid-made. I'll give it 3.7 out of 5 points.
