About
Can you survive the ultimate game of hide and seek?
CLOWNY: The Great Escape is a tense first-person psychological horror game where every sound you make could be your last. Trapped in a decaying, multi-level house, your only goal is the ground floor exit. But between you and freedom lies a complex web of security systems and a relentless stalker who never sleeps.
Escaping is not as simple as finding a key. You must systematically dismantle the house's defenses:
Mechanical Obstacles: Use specific tools to unscrew metal reinforcements and a hammer to pry away heavy wooden planks.
Security Codes: Track down multiple hidden codes scattered across the house to bypass electronic locks.
Power Management: The electronic keypads are useless without power. You must keep the house generator running to progress through the locked sectors.
You are not alone. Clowny stalks the halls in total darkness.
The Silent Stalker: He is blind but has supernatural hearing. He feels your presence and reacts to every floorboard creak or dropped item.
Tar Traps: He spreads a thick black tar throughout the house to slow your movement, making you an easy target.
The Candle Warning: Watch your light source. When the candles flicker and die out, he is standing right behind you.
Physics-Based Risk: Be careful! If the item you are carrying collides with walls or furniture, you will drop it, making a noise that will draw him directly to your position. If he strikes you, you will lose the item currently in your hands.
Exploration & Secrets: Discover hidden passages behind library bookshelves and brave the terrifying sub-basement labyrinth.
Economy & Scavenging: Search every corner for hidden coins. Locate keys for four special chests to purchase or find essential escape items.
Dark Rituals: Use the Holy Bible and a possessed teddy bear to trigger secret mechanisms and unlock the house's deepest mysteries.
Fully Customizable Difficulty: Choose between Easy, Medium, or Hard modes. For a personalized challenge, use Custom Mode to tweak Clowny’s speed, damage, and detection range to your liking.

I just finished playing Clowny: The Great Escape and wow, my heart is still racing! The fact that he’s blind but hears everything makes the game so much more intense. You literally have to hold your breath while solving the physics puzzles. I love that you can't just run around; you actually have to be smart and quiet. The Custom Mode is also a huge plus because you can change the settings to make it as hard as you want. If you like horror games that keep you on the edge of your seat, you definitely need to try this one. 10/10 would recommend
needs work before recommending to someone, janky, items drops without pressing q a bit annoying (you can keep bumping walls and all that but maybe lower the chances of dropping items when hitting walls), looking up and down is weird and struggle to pick thing up off the floor after dropping, and the brightness could be a tad bit lighter
Really impressive for a debut release! The tension is crazy because the monster is blind and tracks you by sound, so dropping an item by mistake is terrifying. I loved the candle mechanic (it goes out when he's right behind you). It’s also great that you actually have to do stuff to escape—like using tools, fixing the generator, and finding codes—instead of just hiding in a corner. Definitely worth playing if you want a good scare!
Clowny The Great Escape is one of those horror games that slowly gets under your skin. The atmosphere is incredibly tense, the sound design keeps you constantly paranoid, and every step feels dangerous because Clowny is always listening. I really loved how the game combines stealth, puzzles, and psychological horror without relying only on cheap jump scares. The house feels dark, mysterious, and genuinely unsettling, especially when the candles start flickering and you realize something is right behind you. The physics-based mechanics make the gameplay more immersive, because even a small mistake or dropped object can turn into a terrifying chase. For an indie horror game, the experience is surprisingly intense and memorable. If you enjoy games where tension and atmosphere matter more than action, this is definitely worth trying. Huge respect to the developer for creating such a creepy and unique experience. Looking forward to future updates and more content!
