Red Horizon is an addictive space shmup game. Heavily influenced by the classics of the past, Red Horizon takes a modern spin on the genre combining it with some subtle Rogue-like elements to provide players with a unique experience every time they play.

This is a poor quality, low effort ripoff of a game called SpaceWar! developed in 1962. Control a simple "spaceship" from a 2D top down view, steering and using your thruster to propel forwards. Other ships appear and need to be shot or they will shoot you and you will run out of lives. The only additions from the original SpaceWar! are a simple upgrade system, simplistic/cartoony graphics for the ships, and a larger number of enemies overall. The game crashes if you select 4K resolution so that falls beneath minimum quality standard here. The bigger problem is the overall concept here. If you develop a video game, deliberately ripping off a video game that's 48 years old, yet don't significantly improve on the original concept despite 48 years of advancements in computing, that really should be taken as a sign you just don't have the talent as a game developer to conceptualise a game properly, let alone deliver on the concept. This game is not worth any money, you can play better games in a web browser for free. Thumbs down.
I think this is a joke. I could make a similar game in few hours using a free framework like Godot -- and it will be surely more enjoyable. After seeing that I think I will!

The gameplay is slow, the soundtrack is not up to par.
The pace of the game is unreasonably slow. This kind of entertainment should be more energetic, and the music should be more memorable and vibrant.
It is a decent game, but it's just another flying and shooting game. No different ships, only occasional upgrades. These sort of games aren't my style, but even so it couldn't even keep my attention longer than 10 minutes. This is just a flash game.
Not nice.
Just fine. Perfectly competent 2D space shooter. As a full-on commercial product, it's a little lacking, but as a side project from a single developer in his spare time, it absolutely deserves to be played. One of my favorite touches is the enemy ships hurling expletives at you as you blow them up. Such a simple element, but it adds so much personality. Also, I found D-Pad controls extremely clumsy for the type of movement this game requires, but incorporating the triggers for forward/backward motion makes you much more deft.

Poor gamedesign.
aiming separated from tank movement would've meant this'd be an okay game, but strictly tank controls makes this play horribly - not to mention the playing field being so small makes it too hard to tell when or where new enemies spawn, until they're almost in your face.
