About

Reconquer Online is an indie MMORPG that prioritizes fun and player freedom rather than grinding. This game introduces fresh mechanics like lever-controlled flame throwers, barricades, damaging fires, player collision, quests with alternative endings, lateral thinking puzzles, and different environmental interactions.
There are currently 13 trainable skills, 11 quests, several bosses and challenges, and a competitive raid with high scores.

Reconquer online has many unique features. These include:
Player-controlled Resources: There is currently a player controlled mine and dock. Monsters sometimes drop "essences" which can be used to guard these resources. Whoever owns the resource has access to the items it generates. Other players can defeat the guardian monsters and claim the resource for themselves.
Barricades and Fires: Barricades can be used to block others while fires can be used to injure them.
Mechanically unique bosses: Fight against bosses that spawn projectiles, drop boulders, switch attack styles, and more.
Endless raids with high scores for those who have advanced the furthest.
In-game macroing to automate the repetitive parts of game play.
A caravan system instead of bank notes for transporting items.
A Tiered PvP System: The PvP damage multiplier starts at 0% and slowly increases as you venture further.
Public Enemies: PvP outside of the wasteland is punished with fidelity loss. Those with negative fidelity are designated "public enemies" and are vulnerable everywhere.
Alternate Endings: Choose a side in certain quests and reap different rewards.

This is a game whose content will continue to grow with the player base.
We believe the game will end up better by slowly introducing higher level content rather than all at once. Our goal is to release a new tier of content (+5 levels) about every three months. In addition, there will be four new biomes. Each biome will have its own major quest-line, raid, and unique items.
Desert (up to level 40 content)
Jungle (Up to level 60)
Arctic (Up to level 80)
Wasteland (Up to level 99)

The long term goal is to monetize solely through memberships. Membership currently gives you the ability to choose a custom name. In the future, membership will also give you access to content above level 20.
3 months - $5
6 months - $10
1 Year - $15
Membership can be purchased in game through Steam.

a idle skilling game with no backpack space???????
"Reconquer Online" is a godawfully bad Runescape ripoff that failed dismally for a whole bunch of reasons. Let's get into the autopsy for this failed and almost certainly abandoned Early Access disaster. What do you do in the game? Nothing really, there's only 1-2 people that log on, presumably the developer and, I guess, their court appointed therapist. I'm just making that up, but stranger things have happened. The developers abandoned this 3 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. Despite not being able to finish the game, the developers apparently had all the time in the world to build a working cash shop microtransaction system and financial transaction back end into the game. That shows the developers primary goal was just to set out to gouge cash from Steam gamers just like mobile devs do with mobile peasants. Disgusting, isn't it? In terms of visuals, this features godawfully, laughably bad low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me. On pricing and value for gamers, this isn't really free as the game is infested with mobile app store like microtransactions. This is a consumer hostile model that we don't need to see on PC. It's deceptively priced to gouge gamers, and that's a reason in itself to avoid this. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 10 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
Developer Response!
The developer has weighed in to inform everyone they didn't read the Developer Usage Rules for Steam "partners", or they deliberately ignored the part where Valve says:
Though it may be tempting, not every review needs to be responded to. A developer response will frequently draw more attention than the original statement, potentially turning a small issue into a much larger community discussion. It's also not a good idea to use this feature to refute customer opinions. Your direct attention can be seen as validation or a defensive attempt to silence your customers.
The developer demands there is no cash shop, instead you use the in-game transactions (via the cash shop in the game) to buy a membership... which costs CASH. The absolute state of "amateur" developers right here, folks. Did the developer seriously think that breaching Valve guidelines to trot out a complete BS lie that their product, which Steam prominently warns gamers contains a cash shop, would convince us that it doesn't have a cash shop? While tacitly admitting it does? Do we pay for the membership with something other than cash? No! Why would the developer be so blatantly dishonest and misleading in the face of the facts? The developer whines that they didn't abandon this game (it's now over 4 months the developer has done nothing), clearly has no time at all to devote to meeting their committment to finish this game, but has all the time to pore over reviews and breach Valve guidelines to tell lies. Lies? Here's another one... the developer parts with a "we made the EULA minimal as possible". They don't need a EULA at all. More BS from an obviously unethical developer desperate to try control gamers and violate your rights... the developers appalling attitude here is an insult to gamers everywhere. Imagine what kind of gameplay experience you'll get with a developer with this disgusting attitude. That does explain this train wreck, but it excuses none of it. And all of this is irrelevant... nobody is touching this dumpster fire for obvious reasons. Recent player counts: ZERO. This is what failure looks like, folks. And now we know why. Nothing in the developers pointless breach of Valve guidelines changes any of the objective facts of my review. My review stands unaltered. I cannot recommend this game to anyone.
Yo where's my equipment menu?
lol...
Very early stages of a runescape derivative game. It's got charm, and not a lot of content currently, but it's being actively and often updated. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time and plan to continue pushing leaderboards.
OLD SCHOOL
great game, jank as hell and that's why i love it. genuinely a better game than runescape, just less content ofc. there's still enough to enjoy for a couple weeks though and i'm excited to come back for more. (playtime isn't representative, i have about 30 hours played on the web version)
