Rebels - Under the Spell of Magic (Chapter 1)

First chapter about 5 hours long, story tells about young thief boy's journey from bottom to top. ( At least that is the first impression of the first part ) Never know how story really goes before completing later chapters. Art looks really good and music is entertaining. Pricing is also good, so if you love reading visual novels i recommend to give this a try.

I like the concept of this fantasy world. Original characters and a story that makes you wonder what happens next.

The story immerses you in the fantasy realm and makes you want more. The tension is maintained throughout the story and you want to read right through to the end. Recommended for gamers who like to take a visual fantasy journey, are into beautiful CG, and love details in characters. The unlockable CG are displayed in a library in the main menu and can be unlocked by selecting the different choices. I'm looking forward to more story and eventual achievements.

I found Rebels very entertaining! The character and story is very detailed and I was able to immerse myself in the rough world (slaves) which is full of wonders (magic and fantasy creatures). A personal gimmick I found was the options for the main character's activities or the paths he should take. I was so interested in the story that I temporarily saved each of them in order to be able to read the various options. I liked the main character's facial expressions best ;D I love Folken's facial expressions and have had to laugh a lot, there seems to be a lot of work in character creation and portrayal here. I also found it super nice that certain events were depicted using large images. many of the pictures are small works of art in themselves. Interestingly, with different drawing styles ... so I think there is something for everyone. The "normal" backgrounds are also very detailed, even plants that are described in the story can be seen in the background. Almost all characters have got their own pictures and I often paused to look in the many details (the hippopotamus cuffs are best). I found the different characters very entertaining, I often find characters are similarly neutral. In Rebels, however, I often had direct references to the individual characters. Personally, I liked most of the female characters better than the men, there are even a few fan service pictures without looking cheap ;) A big plus, in my opinion, of the portrayals of women! I often find the girls too disproportionate (boobs) or too thin. I liked them in Rebels because they are sexy despite (mostly) clothes and human proportions. That was my comment on it as a woman ;) The music is nice without being annoying, even with some sound effects when Folken is bitten, which allowed me to immerse myself in the story even more. A great deal for the money and I was kept busy for a few hours. I would be happy if a new chapter appears here soon. I will definitely buy it, even if my favorite character will probably no longer be there * sniff *
