About

Jack's monkey has escaped holdings and has thrashed the store. Now he needs you to sleeve all the vinyl records into their jackets and then restored back to their correct musical genre's storage crates!
The monkey (named after Jack himself) got his hands on all 20 genres of vinyl records, and has tossed hundreds of vinyl records and their jackets all over the place!

Re:Store the Record Store is an atmospheric sorting game set in a cozy indie vinyl record store.

Featuring over 1000 vinyl records and jackets to pick up, sleeve and resorted back into the crates where they belong! A day-night cycle alters the shop's atmosphere. Take your time sorting and storing the records! It's not a game to rush through. Or you could if you want to, with abilities such as Genre Glance, Crate Chaser and more!

Pick up vinyl records and jackets in first person perspective, slide the vinyl satisfyingly into the correct jacket and then put them back into crates. Made a mistake? You can extract the sleeved vinyl as well!

I enjoyed the premise is the game and it looked to be fun. And it was until I accidentally TWICE reset the game because the default option is to start a new game rather than continue. It does make you clarify that you actually want to start over but I've managed to quickly double click and reset it both times. My other issue with the game is that the second time through I got almost to the end and had about 10 of the slip cases and no records to put in them. I decided to exit the game and reenter and that is when I accidentally started a new game for a second time. There is also no option that I saw to click that would rescatter all the unused pieces like most of these games have. It would have brought back those records that glitched through the floor.

This is bugs on top of bugs followed by bugs. Every time I use it I have to force quit because of a bug.
I found this game to be very charming, I enjoyed finding the different puns on artist names. It will be a relaxing game I can chip away on over time and did not feel the need to rush. The magic abilities help with any frustrating parts.
Too many glitches. Freeze in menu, the disc stuck in ground. I will repurchase if all glitches are fixed
Unfortunately it is almost unplayable as it is. The game frequently crashes while I'm in the middle or organizing and gives me an error message. I would suggest to wait to purchase until all the bugs are worked out. When it works it's quite fun but in the past 30 minutes it's crashed on me about 5 times.
A different spin (HEHE GET IT) on sorting/tidying up genre. Finding where the item belongs is pushed down (sleeves are labeled with the correct genre), priority is given to finding the matching sleeve and the record. Nice music, great vibes, great artwork and silly names/titles. At this moment the game is still riddled with bugs but dev seems to be working relentlessly to smash them all <3 extra points for no ai, especially considering the amount of artwork and names/titles
Definitely one of the more challenging "tidy up" games. The parody artists and album titles are where this game really shines. If you love music, you will have a great time sorting through all the different vinyls. I was pleasantly surprised to find I could actually play the "tester" records. (given the amount of complaints in the reviews about these tester records being "left behind" from development, perhaps they should have been called something else? Sampler tracks?) Cons (most are bugs): - game crashes somewhat regularly when using the Esc menu. - game doesn't remember my brightness/volume settings unless I re-enter the settings menu, then it remembers. - day/night cycle - night time is far too dark. In some corners of the store it's almost impossible to see the records on the floor at night. - I had 2 records clip through the store, making the game impossible to complete. - if you are carrying around both sleeves and vinyls at the same time, the gap between them is too narrow and becomes a hindrance. - the pole supporting the staircase is annoying to get around. I bumped into it over and over again. It seems to have a weird hitbox. - after completing the New Releases rack, I accidentally took an album out, only to find I couldn't put it back. Despite all these bugs, the game was quite fun! Hopefully the bugs get patched soon.
The concept is decent but execution not so much. First time playing i had a fatal error crash. I also wouldnt be surprised the game having issues with certain arts being borderline likeness and copyright infringement. There was one album cover that is extremely similar to the pearl jam 10 album just different color so there are probably others with similar issues but not being able to quit and having the fatal error didnt sit well with me.
I really like the concept of the game, and the atmosphere. The issue is the bugs. I spent 7 hours playing and at the end, 3 vinyls were missing. Also, when you pick up the sticky notes, the next time you pause the game it breaks the whole thing. Game is fun, but still needs a lot of work.
