Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.43/day in the week to Jul 25 → 5.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I absolutely love this game. if you like roguelikes, or city builders, or both, get this game
Прекрасная экономическая стратегия с милым дизайном про мышей, но крайне не милосердным геймплеем. Иногда приходится страдать, но увлекательный геймплей это компенсирует.

i love rats

It is a good game. But good lord it is deceptive. You look at it, you expect cute and cozy colony sim. But you are thrown into a fairly intense spiral of problems for you to solve. The game is fairly difficult and does not mess around. You rarely have time to rest, especially early on. The best way to think about this game - it is Oxygen Not Included, but without oxygen and polution issues - instead you have economic and military issues. And you control a special character. These may look like relatively small differences but they amount to a fundamentally different gameplay. First off - unlike in Oxygen Not Included - creating a fairly self-sufficient colony is actually fairly easy. Basic resources are easily renewable - so keeping your rats alive should not be a major issue after say... first year, maybe evern earlier if you get lucky. Economy plays a major role in this game. The game simulates a full internal and external economy of your little colony. Every job requires payment, but your ratizens also buy stuff. You have options for additional taxation and subsidies to make sure that money is not simply hoarded by few lucky rats and that it returns to circulation. Once you get in contact with other cities, trade becomes available - supply and demand is there, and so are exchange rates for foreign currencies. You also have military - you will get raided by 3 increasingly difficult types of enemies - wchich enemy will that be depends on your prosperity level. Combat is fairly basic, but I call it satisfying. You have decent troops variety to try different approaches. And finally you have your avatar, a rat princess by default. Basically a hero unit. So the whole game is observed basically from her perspective. This means your vision is limited to your character's direct vicinity - you can't just mouse through the entire base - you have to walk where you need to be. At first I expected it to get annoying, but it is really nicely integrated and thought out - you can do things remotely - thanks to telescopes and the mail system. So the whole thing is not just a gimmick, but the integral part of gameplay. The game looks very nice. The music is very atmospheric, for lack of a better word. And most sound effects are very, very nice. Although the farting noises near the toilets get a tiny bit annoying at times. Now. Do I have any criticism about this game? Yes. Some. As is quite common in these types of games - some elements are not exactly well explained. There are for example some buildings that you can research basically out of order - giving you an incomplete supply chain. So you may have a facility to make the end product, but not the facilities for intermediate products - so you may need to research additional stuff first. For example - you may research the bakery before you have access to grinder for flour. The tax system is also not exactly self explanatory - if you know your basic economy, sure, it is logical. But the game doesn't help you much with explaining anything, or even giving you the proposed starting tax rates as an example. Basically, it throws you into a deep water of trial and error method, or searching the forums. Military is simple, but not self explanatory either. Each "barracks" building holds only one rat that needs to be assigned there permanently. BUT this is not all. Those rats won't do any military work anyway. You need an HQ building to be able to form squads. And the game does a fairly poor job at explaining this. One final complaint - your rats can be fairly dumb - so be careful when digging or building near a massive drop or a pool of water - your rats will get themselves killed. That being said - once you figure out the peculiarities of the system, it is a smooth sailing.

I like rats and I like colony sims and base building, so my opinion may be biased. This is a great game and I've done multiple runs. I really like how small updates are still being included - it's been so much fun to come back to and explore. Each run I've done is different, depending on what kind of 'victory' I want to achieve. The UI and tutorial could always be improved on for quality of life, but it's pretty straight forward once you get the hang of it. If you were thinking of giving it a try, then I recommend it. It's not as detailed as say Rimworld, but it scratches an itch for a cute yet challenging game and would be a good choice for someone getting into playing a colony sim. One of my favourite features is that you as the player also get to control a character, as a 'Leader' of the ratizens so you can contribute to your colony and be more involved, as opposed to just watching everything happen. It's a great feature that I wish was present in other colony sim games.
