I've recently finished the game at 100% and, I gotta tell ya sports fans, it was one heck of an interdimensional journey. From start to finish I had such a blast in both the story and the gameplay. I absolutely can NOT wait to see what Insomniac has in store for the next installment! Now, time for the review: From a gameplay standpoint, it's really fun. The many types of weapons offer a wide range of combos suitable for anyone's playstyle, not to mention the movement really adds to both combat and exploration. The platforming was really fun, but I would say some (that were mandatory for the story) were a bit too obscured by all of the action being blasted at your face. Despite that, I loved the gameplay and its high action gun fights! On a story standpoint, however, is where it sort of falters. Don't get me wrong, it's good: the characters were well-written, it's easy to follow, and it grips you into the stake of it all – but I do feel like Insomniac could've done way more. Throughout the game, the story sticks with the heroes a lot and never really gave way to either supporting characters or the antagonist. Sure, Rivet may have more screen time to flesh out her character, but I feel like we could've taken a few steps back from the lombaxes so other characters could shine through. Among that, the pacing was alright. It felt just right from act one to act two, but feels a bit rushed in the third act. I do hope the next R&C game Insomniac puts out will have an upgrade to the writing to find a perfect balance! In conclusion, I am very satisfied with Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. All of my efforts to avoid spoilers for five years certainly paid off! Much love and support to Insomniac Studios and Ratchet & Clank <3

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart est un excellent jeu pour se détendre et passer un bon moment. L'univers est vraiment cool, coloré et plein de personnalité, avec des personnages attachants et beaucoup d'humour. Le gameplay est fluide, fun et accessible, ce qui en fait un jeu parfait pour jouer sans prise de tête après une journée chargée. Les déplacements entre les dimensions apportent également une vraie fraîcheur à l'aventure. En plus de l'histoire principale, les missions annexes ajoutent pas mal de contenu et permettent de prolonger agréablement la durée de vie du jeu. Elles sont variées et donnent une bonne raison d'explorer davantage les différents mondes. Au final, c'est une aventure très agréable, visuellement superbe et divertissante du début à la fin. Je le recommande sans hésiter à tous ceux qui cherchent un jeu fun et relaxant

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart ist einfach ein absolutes Highlight und hat mich von Anfang bis Ende begeistert. Die Story ist spannend und witzig. Die Atmosphäre und Musik ist unglaublich stimmig und die Grafik sieht so gut aus, dass man manchmal das Gefühl hat, einen spielbaren Pixar-Film vor sich zu haben. Die Waffen sind kreativ und fühlen sich alle komplett unterschiedlich an, was die Kämpfe durchgehend frisch und abwechslungsreich hält. Rivet als neuer Charakter ist eine absolute Bereicherung fürs Spiel. Dazu kommen die Dimensionswechsel, die nicht nur cool aussehen, sondern auch spielerisch richtig Spaß machen. Das einzige was mich störrt, sind leider die Bugs. Es gibt ein paar davon und die können schon mal frustrierend sein, vor allem wenn man bedenkt, dass das Spiel schon einige Jahre auf dem Markt ist. Aber unterm Strich ist Rift Apart eines der besten Spiele, die ich seit Langem gezockt habe. Wer auf actionreiche Abenteuer mit Herz und Humor steht, sollte da unbedingt zugreifen. Von mir eine absolute Kaufempfehlung!

This is probably the most graphically beautiful game I currently own on PC. I'm running it at 8K2K (7680x2160) 57" super ultrawide, with all settings maxed and it runs flawlessly on my 8Pack Polaris MK2, at a solid 120fps native with no upscaling. Gameplay is compelling with plenty of variety and the "rift" mechanic, in which you instantly teleport from one environment to another, is like magic. It's truly astounding

플레이하는 내내 한 편의 애니메이션 영화를 보는 기분이 들었던 게임이였음. 근데 초반에 나오던 적들이 후반에도 그 구성 그대로 나오는건 아쉬웠음.
