A small, third-person, action, tower defense game where you play as a peasant who gets tired of adventurers breaking into his house. Place down towers and fight off waves and waves of "enemies." Progress through the story and see just how far one man will go to protect his beloved llama.

Full playthrough here: https://youtu.be/VjoO6p8XqCw Definitely enjoyed watching our boy go from a farmer to a geared out bad dude, but man being a lich sucks the lich stages were miserable, but the game is a blast for a free to play I love that it has a story and that we get to watch our character progress. It's pretty bare bones in way of tower defense mechanics, but it's still cool to be able to slaughter waves of enemies. I wish the lich form had more unholy abilities or towers, but instead you turn from a sword wielding blender to a lethargic victim. Definitely recommend though it's free to play and worth the time.

I like games like this, they scratch an itch I don't get anymore. Like a classic Flash game. It really needs some balancing and maybe a way to level edit/QoL update but otherwise incredibly fun for its simplicity. Also, fix level 4, that ♥♥♥♥ is broken as hell.
Nice tower defense with endless mode and gamepad support. Have some little bugs but its enjoyable!
story just could not stop making me laugh. Nothing is explained and I LOVE it. First like three levels are nice and easy cannon is like super strong no need to buy anything else. Fourth level tho is tough fr. They make you super slow get rid of your weapon and make the whole thing real challenging. I could tell they thought that too because they give ya three lives for the only time. level after that i straight up cant beat like they make you fast but they are throwing 100 plus enemies at you and you need to guard something which makes it harder then the fourth level because they are actively after you.
Solid game, story needs some work but general game mechanics are enjoyable and the custom tower placements is great -- would recommend
"Rags to Liches" is a student project from Neumont College, and this year the students built, well, basically a ripoff of hybrid brawler/TD games like Sanctum. Run around, place towers, fight the bad guys. It's pretty shallow, I know we shouldn't expect much from a student project, but it offers a limited experience to gamers. Develepers, especially students, need to learn that content is king. This features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and it's clear the developers behind this didn't understand that. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? This is a "maybe" experience... if you have a lot of free time on your hands and nothing else to do, why not? But for the purposes of a review, this isn't something I can say everyone must try. It's not quite there. Valve doesn't give us a "maybe" option in reviews, but if they did, that's what I'd choose for this.
Simple game. Nice time killer. Price is free, so you're getting a good time for nothing. I likely won't play it any longer, as I don't see it having long term appeal, but I am glad that I at least gave it a shot.
make a 2nd game this one was fire
